Subscribe to the NEW CHANNEL for more Pitch Meetings: / @pitchmeetings
Netflix is great at grabbing big stars and putting them in movies. Are those movies good? Um… sometimes! Their latest star-studded film is “The Day Shift” - a vampire hunting movie starring Jamie Foxx, James Franco and Snoop Dogg. One thing is for sure… this is one of the movies of all time.
Day Shift does raise some questions. Like why are we spending so much time on worldbuilding stuff that never comes up again? Who is buying all these fangs and why? How many peepee poopoo jokes are in this thing? Is the bad guy trying to take over the housing market AND bring back the rule of vampires? How did Snoop survive?
To answer all these questions and more, step inside the Pitch Meeting that led to Day Shift! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

There shoulld be an app, just like those which check for code bugs, that flags every time Ryan could make a joke. The writer uploads the screenplay on the app and the writer gets a log: "this script contais 4 "please. get all the way of my back" and 5 "supereasy. barely an inconvenience" instance."

So for my breakfast today, I've taken a mix of green sprouts, potatoes, white mushrooms and chicken breasts, diced that and fried untill everything was ready and taters were crispy on a pan, then poured a mix of three eggs with a bit of milk on top of the potatoes and chicken to make this into a big round omelete with plenty of stuff inside. It was delicious, but I've felt that there could've been fewer mushrooms - their taste kind of overwhelmed the whole dish. Also, nice video.

Today for breakfast I had Dr Greger’s recipe for oatmeal he calls “BROL” which is whole (intact) grain black barley, rye, oat groats, and lentils (B.R.O.L.). I use beluga black lentils and soak the grains overnight. I also add pseudo grains like quinoa, sorghum, millet, pumpkin seeds, flaxseed meal, blueberries (from frozen), cranberries, baking cocoa, black strapped molasses, Ceylon cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ground cloves, and amla powder (Indian gooseberry). A large spoonful of natto, sprinkle some hempseeds on it with freshly ground black cumin seed (nigella sativa) and voila! High fiber, nutritious, delicious, and not as time consuming as you might think. I boiled the grains for about 30 minutes, rinsed & added the lentils. Cooked for another 10, stirred in everything else. Plus the time I save with my lightning-fast bowel movements makes up for it. I tell you, when it takes longer to pee than it does to poo, you KNOW you’re getting enough fiber!

I wrote a screen play a few weeks ago with Snoop dog as the hero. Laughed my ass off and was in complete awe of his acting ability. My movie was a science fiction B movie you would see on the scifi channel, like Sharknado. I even wrote a few of the cast in for cameos. There are lots of cameos and funny scenes in the midst of screaming, running and fighting. I cant give anymore away. You have to read the screenplay. Lol. Seriously though I thought you were in my head when I saw the movie and I laughed my ass off.

Same. Shows how bad modern movies are. From the 60s to the 80s one big great hit after another came around and for the past 20 years Hollywood has been attempting to cash in on original ideas from those years. Like Star Trek, Star Wars, LotR, Marvel Comics, DC... No original new ideas, just playing it "safe", doesn't look good for our culture.

Hey there, Pal! I’m here in your comments section to tell you about my breakfast. So in the mornings when I’m feeling hungry sometimes I like to make myself some oatmeal. Now, when I make my oatmeal, I don’t use any sugar. I actually just put all kinds of dry fruit in there instead. Raisins, cranberries, dates, apricots... And so when I cook them with the water, a little bit of the dried fruits just dissolves and becomes the oatmeal. Ya know? Yeah, so it’s super tasty and it’s my favorite thing to eat in the breakfast time. Oh, and you know how nuts are full of good oils and stuff? Yeah, I put a lot of those in there too. Yeah, nuts are tight! And I mean all kinds of nuts too. Walnuts, almonds, pecans, macadamia nuts… but not peanuts. Peanuts are legumes. Also they might kill me because I’m allergic.
