Looks like a nice trip Tonia its hard to believe when you were at the beach that a body of water that big is all fresh water. As an Aussie that looked like a pineapple fritter - a pineapple slice deep fried in a light batter with a dusting of icing sugar or cinnamon. Because of the high UV levels here In Australia we teach our kids sun safety ie. "Slip Slop Slap - slip on a shirt, slop on the sunscreen and slap on a hat. I have never been on the US side of the great lakes but I have been on the Canadian side in Toronto, Monteal, Quebec City, Niagara Falls etc. it was incredible. Thanks for taking us with you.

How cool! I’ve only been to Lake Michigan. Both the Chicago side and Indiana side. I haven’t seen the other Great Lakes yet.

Lol yeah it’s like a fresh water ocean. Over 22,000 square miles. Lots of shipwrecks in there.

@@ToniaElkins Yeah of course most people know of the Edmond Fitzgerald . Amazing stories of the great lakes. Was funny to see the waves crashing, just like being in the ocean .

Love the Dunes, I used ta go with girl scouts💕 Lake Bloomington looks nice👍I like ta drive around and look at some of the gorgeous houses on the lakes in my area too😍 Also totally remember getting the rocks and gems on school field trips, you'd get that little bag and pick from all the little like bin things😃👍

Lol nope wasn’t planned. I didn’t even notice 😂 And yeah lake Bloomington area does have some really nice homes. I knew someone who lived out there years ago.

Hey, TE! Is that doughnut thing a jelly fish covered in sand? I've never heard of a chicken ring. What animal is that from? And what flavour is "ranty"? Thanks for the trip and thanks to hubby for driving. I've done so much driving lately it was quite relaxing to watch.

Oh the chicken ring it’s basically a chicken nugget in a ring shape and flavored with ranch powder. It wasn’t good lol. I’m not a fan of White Castle in general tho. Just the fries.

@@unexplained-lt4by Oh at Lake Bloomington? As far as I know there’s no beach area. I think it’s all for boating and fishing and that sorta thing. But I wouldn’t be surprised if people jump off their boats to swim lol
