음원듣다가 울컥해서 라이브 찾아왔어 제이 목소리ㅠ 다시 듣고싶다 ㅜㅜ..

when i went to the paris stop of their gravity tour, they had the lyrics translated in french showing on a screen for everyone to see and understand what this song is about. it's obvious that this song means a lot to them but also to us fans. i don't think i was the only one in the audience crying when they played this song for us. i'm so grateful for day6's concert, they're a space where everyone can feel seen and heard no matter who they are. i remember the venue mostly being filled with young adults, but there was also a dad having the time of his life dancing with his children. their music is both so personal to them yet so universal. i admit that before the concert, i hadn't truly understood the meaning of "for me", but the gesture of showing the lyrics translated into our language show that they really wanted everyone to take the message away with them- "i will love me now". at the end of the concert, young k made a pinky promise with the audience that we would try to be happy. those past years have been challenging, but i always have these concert memories to hold on to when i'm feeling down. i hope everyone gets to experience a day6 concert in their lives, it's a magical experience not only because they are amazing musicians, but because for a few hours, all of your worries fade away and you make one with the crowd and the band, as an entity that is simply here because of their love for music. you find yourself to have so many similarities with strangers that you would've thought would be nothing like you. there isn't a band that gives hope to listeners the way day6 does.

You see, I was about to give up. Things are tough. It's getting harder and harder right now and I don't know what to do anymore. I'm so close to cutting my self. But I remembered this song, i don't know how or why this song came to my mind when I was already so close on doing it. I put it down, and opened my phone just to hear this song one last time. I've decided already. But when i heard Sungjin sang "I want to thank you for not falling down, for always leading the way to keep me going. From today, I will start to love you. I mean I will love me now." i cried harder and thought of how I've been through a lot but still chooses to go on. Every pain, scar, bruises, and tears I this song made me realized that I should thank my self for not giving up. And I thought, I need to love my self more. So for that, thank you.
