This video is so heartwarming. Even when facing a devastating loss in a game, Day9 just chuckles at the bologna that this game is, smiles, and queues up another game. I really needed to watch this amount of joy to inspire me to play hearthstone in this manner. RNG can be so much fun! Also, the little dance after the aftershock cleared the hunter's board was so nostalgic.

22:00 i always found it funny how on streams in any card game whenever people see some midrange deck that wins by just trading well and having board control they ask :"what is the win condition of this deck?". In mind of many people there is always should be a card that almost says - you win, just trading well and killing enemy little by little is not really in their book.

I see „win condition“ as a situation in which a win is more then assured. A 2 card combo that procs for infinite damage or a instant win, a card that self-shuffles into the deck, a build-around that you set up for and use to shift the tide of the game, a card that bends the rules of the game, … So indeed it‘s just actually what the deck intents to win on, even if it‘s just a 8/8 that costs 0

Hi Sean, it's been a blast watching you back in Hearthstone! Could I suggest you consider trying Diablo II (Resurrected or classic) during your Blizzard Month? It's much less flashy than D4 but a much richer gaming experience in my opinion. Big cult following too, so mods might need to work overtime on backseaters, but overall very rewarding once you get into it. Will enjoy checking in on your adventures this coming month! (P.S. WoW Classic and Retail are very different experiences. Jumping into retail is an even more overwhelming and confusing experience than the modern HS menu. It's trying incredibly hard to somehow consolidate years of story and expansion-based content/mechanic bloat. I'd suggest you at least check out Classic Classic, even if you don't plan on sticking around.)

It's been years since I last played HS. Well, I started at S1 and fell in love with Miracoli rogue, and went on playing with it. I tried every single variation of the deck. You know, Oil rogue and all. But I've never really liked the direction they were trying to push Rogue into with Pirates and casting spells from opponent's class. To be honest, I had the feeling they didn't know what they wanted Rogue to be. I tried HS again a little while later when they launched the classic mode, where only the base cards were allowed, and I was having a blast with Miracoli Rogue again. But it wasn't enough for me to stick to the game because I knew the mode would be gone after a while. So, I came back to HS this week because of Day9 and I found out that my cards from back in the day have all been power crept like crazy. This is not a rant, I understand this is only natural. I'm a YGO player, and I definitely understand the Power Creep card games go through. Either way, I came to the conclusion that they still don't know what they want Rogue to be. LoooL I gotta admit I wanted to try this Tentacle Rogue deck, but the game gave me zero resource to build the game. LoL

19:19 I feel the same way about 'trade'. A trade is an exchange. If you're not giving something up then you're not trading something. 20:59 No, in this deck it's a 'win more' card. It makes you win a game you were already going to win by more, without increasing your ability to win games you were going to lose.

The ultimate "what's your win condition?" was a control deck in standard that actually ran 0 creatures, and played a land called nephalia drownyard, which could mill your opponent, so you just controlled your opponent's board, and due to fact that magic was a sensible game a decade ago, your opponent would eventually run out of threats in hand, and go to topdecking, at which point, whenever they bricked or you had more mana than necessary, you milled them for 3 with your land, which meant that you had no bricks in your deck due to them being the designated wincon, you had a deck that was purely dedicated to not dying, and eventually you would win if you survived for long enough.
