Listerine is my favourite. It's so complex, and it feels perfect, that's rare. The little guitar bit at the end reminds me of M83's Midnight City's sax (not because they sound the same but because of the placement) it's another all time fave of mine. I'd love to hear an orchestral version of Listerine, that'd be so cool. Listerine is one of those songs that I'll be listening to for years + the music video is perfect. I don't make music but I do illustrate so I completely get the 'only hearing noise' thing and overworking details except it's visual lmao. Love this series.

FAVORITE SONG OFF THE ALBUM!!! Sloan, you really have no idea how much this song means to me. I have a playlist of special songs that really catch the "vibe" of who I am and how I feel, and this one immediately made the list when I first heard it. I wish I could tell you in person just how much this album has influenced my life. I turned 20 in January and I truly feel like Fuzzybrain has become the soundtrack to this year of my life. I also really love the music video. It's so simple but captures how the song makes me feel in a way that I can't really explain. Thank you so much, for real.

This song hits different. The driving beat has a sense of urgency and the way you sing the verses and prechorus (with all the swells) adds tension until the chorus, which gives you this immense catharsis!! And that little seven-note riff is so iconic!! This song is what shows me your potential, your dedication, and your understanding of music! Thank you for it!

Listerine has to be my favorite song in Fuzzybrain. I like how fast pace it is compared to the others which makes it stand out and that just draws me to it. I also find this song pretty nostalgic feeling and like I can relate to it even though I can’t figure out why :,) overall a great song and I’m excited about what’s to come in the future :-)

I have been watching your series on how you made the songs in your album and first of all the intros are hilarious! :P. Anyways, one of the things you have mentioned from time to time in these videos is that you don't use $1M tools, you haven't bought any/many plugins, you limit yourself in certain aspects of the project for the sake of creativity and the ability to actually finish a project, and that there is no magic to it but a lot of experimentation and simply having a blast making songs! These are the kinds of things that I consistently share with my audience on a regular basis as I challenge them to stop gear/DAW lusting and simply spend time writing lots of songs and enjoying the creative process!
