IMO anything beats the OEM headlight. I just installed the knock off of the daymaker yesterday and im extremely happy. I honestly dont think the genuine daymaker would make me much happier. Especially for the price. Thanks for the side by side!

Just got the Amazon headlight. And like everyone else blows! The stock one away and would not even consider the HD one for $400. Completely happy.

I just took my Wisamic off. It was a big improvement over the stock halogen but the aiming was atrocious. When I got the low beam set it was phenomenal, however the high beam lit up the treeline. It lit up the treeline for a mile and a half but still, the trees aren't likely to jump out in the road. When I aimed the light down where the high beam was usable the low beam was well, low. The high beam, had a very hard emitter boundary which meant it didn't light up anything in any turn. With the high beam aimed low enough to use, the low beam was so low pretty much any lean in any turn meant that the pattern dipped down off the road. If I could have just adjusted the aiming of either the high or the low it would have been great. However I now have an Osram unit and the high beam is right in line with the low adding more light both above and below the pattern and the low beam has a much more even fill. Check one out, if you like the Wisamic you'll love the Osram.

I was hoping that you would give your opinion on which headlight works the best and if the cost difference between the expensive Daymaker and the cheaper headlights is worth the extra cost. It's hard to give an opinion based on headlights shinning on a garage door especially if we don't have any experience with LED headlights. Based on what I saw I didn't see a very noticeable difference between those LEDs but the real test is how they perform going down the road at night, especially an old dark country road, that sh** can get pretty creepy when you're riding by yourself 😆. So which headlight do you all think is best and what's the differences as far as performance goes? Is the Daymaker worth all that $$ or is the cheaper Amazon lights just as good? What about build quality, can you feel or tell a difference by examining them that there's a notable difference? And how about longevity, has any of you had any issues with longer term use, they still perform good? I was thinking about just getting an LED bulb to go into our stock headlight on our '05 Dyna Wide Glide because I like the old school look better but not if there's a much notable difference in performance. If replacing the whole headlight makes a much bigger difference in light output then I would probably go ahead and replace the whole headlight and just try to get used to the more modern look.

So the Flyeye has no cutoff and will dazzle oncoming traffic, the Wisamac looks pretty decent with good cut off and a wide spread, the genuine daymaker has a sharp cut off and a more focussed beam. Guessing the daymaker throws it's light further down the road, but for the money the Wisamac looks good enough.

how is the life of the 3 different bulbs ??? one year or 10 years ???

Good vid, but would have liked more detail of installation issues as kept seeing an extra helping hand. A longer light comparison , instead of just a glimpse, would be a big help.

After many pauses, light drawing overlay sketches, an deliberations I've ranked them as: 1- Wisamic (best overall beam displacement, best cut away for on coming traffic, an brightest controlled light beam) 2-moonflyeye (brightness of light, softness in light beam, but no controlled beam, no cut away for on coming traffic) (if I was to use this headlight, I would spend much time on adjustment of beam to on coming traffic. I would use in back country roads where I want all kinds of frontal light, but not in dense city traffic where drivers all temporary blinded!) 3. HD Junk, taking too much power an not enough output for me!

moons flyeye is good i think... for 1ST place. Wisamic for 2nd PLACE.. i did not like the HD day maker it was way to narrow of a beam for me...

need to re aim. other than that I'm good with it.

Sad the cheap Wisamic is the best one. hd daymaker is just as good but the beam is weigh to high. probably the fault of the person who installed it rather than the light itself. the flyeye is just a mess, Its everywhere like a work light
