I left Højer and drove along the coastline, reached the white sand, Hvide sande, and did some stops. There are a lot of tourists, which can be a good thing, or a bad one. The good thing is that whatever you need, you will get it, there are a lot of service for tourists. The bad thing is that it is not that easy to find a private spot, if that is what you want.
Hanstholm is a small community, there is one restaurant and you'd better make reservations if you want to have dinner there. Food is really good there.
Did some driving south of Hanstholm, got stuck in the sand and had to lay the bike down, fill the pit and got out of there quite easy. Drove north, saw dozens and dozens of vans, filled with many kind of water sport toys, kites and wet suits. Drove down to the shore, along the coast and found some bunkers that had reached their best before-date. Some hundred meters from my hotel was the Bunkermuseum, built around the huge 20 meter cannon foundation that the soldiers built during WW2. Really worth a visit, though you don't, like me, have that much interest in war and weapons.
