Giving these guns the head to head treatment. No conclusion from me - just the evidence for you to decide.

I don't see by watching these two comparisons, how I could choose between either of them ,as you said yourself, too may variables???,sorry but just saying what I think 🤔

I really appreciate your comment. I think the thing you can take from this is the red wolf gets better groups....

@@southwestshooters in a test that the red wolf has all the advantages, Biggest being its your own personal gun ,and you are obviously well practiced in using it . It's also a .177 ,the target shooters choice. It's quite alot more money ,being made by the same company, I would expect it to be better. Still like watching your videos though, these are my honest opinions,

@@johnrichards5440 Your right John , I've got the wolverine R in .177 , and although cheaper then the redwolf ( and that is due to the cost of the electronics , not the quality of the rifle ) is easily as accurate at all distances , yet , neither can match the accuracy of one of my other rifles , and that comes in at £500 CHEAPER then the wolverine R ( from what I've seen down our range )

Ain't a lot I can say really , your correct by saying there's a lot of variables when comparing these two particular rifles , pellet choice being one of them , but CALIBRE being the major factor , I wouldn't however , say the redwolfs trigger is any better then the wolerines ( I can ONLY go by my wolverine R trigger ) I find the wolverine's trigger more predictable in usage ( I know it's a strange thing to say ) because with electronic triggers ( me I'm on about ) I find I'm a tad hesitant taking up the first stage , and I'm conscious of activating the second stage prematurely , yes I know electronic triggers can be adjusted , but I don't think they give the same feedback as the VERY crisp and predictable wolverine R .. this ( again ) effects accuracy .. imho .. Had to rush with reply , I'm lying in bed , and the Mrs is giving me grief about getting up ..

Mark - I always appreciate your fun and insightful comments! Although I don't share the same experiences using the electronic trigger - I totally respect your views on this. I am needing to work on my trigger technique a little bit - so please stay tuned for future videos!

@@southwestshooters Of course I'll stay tuned , you can't get rid of me that easily .. lol .. ( would have put a smiley or grin face emoji up but don't know how ) don't think I worded my response as eloquently as I should , but I were in a rush , well not exactly a rush , the Mrs was nagging me to get out of bed ..
