Yeah it was really clever how they did this. Definitely on purpose.

Yeah, I used to see these things everywhere but with the pandemic and the fact this game is almost 30 years old, it's getting harder to find. My Dave & Busters just got rid of it 2 years ago, there's a few arcades in my area with its sequel or third game and whenever the county fair is going on, they have one there, but the pandemic usually cancels it. That's fine though, those machines are almost always broken or wheels don't work/coin mechs broken, etc. It's a shame, one of my favorite racing games!

Cheese to have it was Chico CA witch closed in 2011 i’m pretty sure it was on the verge of removing its old games that location still had Jurassic Park aswell Chuck E. Cheese removed their games every 10 years is very rare to see a 90s game there now

@@funecheeseofficial3576 Yeah, it was the original Daytona USA that my Dave & Busters used to have from 1994. I believe it was 2018 when my D&B(Hilliard, Ohio) replaced it with Cruis'n Blast. I've heard the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania D&B's still has 4 of the 8 deluxe machines for Daytona still, but I've never been there so I don't know if they're still there or not.

Lots of camera angles from this were used in the final version on that track.
