Most of those bags look like the same 3d models as bags found in Vigor. I dunno though. I haven't played Vigor in a couple of years. The sling, leather duffel, canvas, and the army pouches. Im pretty sure they have the same name in that game, too.

Yeah, they're the same bags. The same 3d models. The same developer, Bohemia Interactive. I wonder what else they could port over. 🤔

@@Nitno it would kinda add depth and more roleplay ideas if you could roll up the sleeves of long sleeve clothes. As for tanks tops, it could the cutt off sleeves design or a regular tank top.

@@Nitno Sure brother, in real life, my background is a sound specialist - I've worked on films, movies and games for the past 30 years creating sound-banks that I sell to other sound-designers at these AAA game companies. When Arma was being created - one of the very first things that was set as a standard to the engine was the speed of sound, and how the firearms in the game were going to be heard against various materials (their reflective density was added to the engine as well; wood, concrete, metal, plaster, etc) and thus affects how we hear those sounds reflected back to us. The idea being; the sound realism gave us true accuracy to determine shot ORIGIN and obfuscation. Just like real life. I've recorded all manner of pistols, rifles, shotguns, machine-guns, etc at various ranges - outdoor, indoor, suppressed with subsonic ammunition as well as using regular ammunition. We know that from experience, a real suppressor when used with proper subsonic ammunition - will almost never give you a secondary report (echo/reverb). So, only the bigger calibers on RIFLES should be giving the new echo sound, NOT the naturally subsonic ammo/weapon combinations like the MKII (.22), Scorpion (.380) or AS-VAL/VSS (9x39). I was hoping for more realistic sounds in the update. At least they tried. ┐(￣ヘ￣）┌

Unless dayz added sub sonic rounds in there will always be a supersonic crack (secondary report). All a suppressor does is catch the expanding gas, it will not affect a bullets velocity. Any object travelling over 1200 fps will have a supersonic crack. Even in real life a suppressor only cuts a supersonic 5.56 round down about 20-30 db at the most and it’s about 155-170 db without suppressor for 556 depending on barrel length. OSHA says 140db exposure more than once a month causes permanent hearing damage so even a suppressed supersonic 556 will be insanely loud. A jackhammer is only 85-90 db for reference.

@@CheeseBurgerXJ Yup! Any projectile moving faster than 343m/s (761 mph, or 1100 feet/second.) will break the sound barrier. The MKII .22 is firing approx that speed at 1,120-1,135 feet per second (341-346 m/s) and therefore has a small sound profile aperture. Very easy to suppress. It's about as loud as a Zippo lighter being closed. Similarly, the IJ 70 & Scorpion CR61 using .380 cal = 980 ft/s (300 m/s) can really be suppressed and sounds only like a stapler being used. And finally the AS VAL - using 9x39, at 290 m/s (950 ft/s). They are goddamn whispers of a ghosts fart in the dark. The firing mechanism on them is so quiet it just sounds like a camera is taking a picture ...you hear a flick sound and mostly hear the sound of the round whizzing through the air hitting something. Those 3 calibers are subsonic in DayZ that I know of, ...there may be more.

Console is also getting this. Xbox has experimental testing servers, but Playstation does not. Playstation will get this patch when it goes Official everyone else does.

@@Nitno No why only about 1 in 5 tend to have loot. They are only issues and don't offer any help so the dumber they are the easier the game gets.

I've tried SCUM... while it has potential, and I enjoy it, it's still behind DayZ in a lot of polish. Also they do not have any populated "No Base/No Trader" servers which I would rather play.
