Bohemia Interactive allow for modding in their game in a market where games are so sub-par because AAA gaming companies allow for no such thing. Bohemia is the most consumer friendly company I know of, they care about their community, allowing for modding to add into the game literally whatever they want at no charge; AND THEY STILL GET SHIT ON BY UNGRATEFUL PLAYERS LIKE YOU. You're the reason the quality of games is so poor, congratulations, hope you're happy. Enjoy the game, idiot.

If modders can do all this since mod release, what the hell have the devs been doing.

Porting an idea to an obsolete engine, then porting the game to an underdeveloped engine, paying people piss poor salaries and dealing with staff members constantly leaving, shifting people from DayZ development to make Arma 3 DLCs due to lack of people, abandoning the developments for months, dividing the small team to work on console ports and as last-ditch effort to save the game they called it 1.0 and worked on mod support. That's 7 years summarized.

Probably introducing more game breaking bugs so when they fix them it makes it look like they do work whilst in reality, the entire DayZ team moved on to Arma 4.

There's so much from the mod missing the in standalone. The main one for my is the NPC spawns, at least then there was actually something to do in the game.

Even though there is also a feel that got me while playing the old dayz mod and others (Epoch , Overwatch) , that I can't feel it here , whether it was the engine that made old Arma 2 game , environment , style or like this game is a little modernized or I don't feel the survival environment anymore ....
