I completely agree with everything on this list...I rock the MK all way till the end...best zombie gun.

The revolver not jamming nor needing a mag has me defaulting to to it early game. But I still like me a fully loaded and good condition deagle if available, no doubt.

4:58 - absolutely 💯 agree... it is BY FAR the most used pistol. They're easy to come by, and you don't have to worry about finding/maintaining a separate suppressor. Virtually zero recoil, 50 rounds to a stack, and the integrated suppressor gives a much better sight picture than any other with a can. If I find a MkII on the coast, and a box of .22... that's pretty much an automatic passport to Tier 3. Literally an 11 slot express lane, when you find an extra mag.

3:18 - Have to disagree with this one. It's the best pistol for tapping zombies. The MkII gets more use as a zombie tapper, by merit of sheer availability... but the FX45 combines the advantage of subsonic ammunition with a higher capacity magazine, more damage, and attachment capability. That's a solid A rating for me.

I like the .45 handguns for the sole fact that they shoot subsonic rounds making them very quite when suppressed not ruger mk2 quite but quiter than a glock

My favorite way to go is to have the Belt and Plate Carrier with 2 holsters...that way I can carry MKII and Deagle at the same time. But Revolvers are great because there's no gear fear of losing it...and you really get to work on your calm aim. Cowboy hat + leather backpack + chest holster revolver + shotgun is a fun way to play without too much gear fear. If you lose to 21st century technology...welll its okay because what could you do as a 1800s cowboy? Did you give em "h-e" double hockey sticks?

I love the Makarov. It’s small, light, and has a decent capacity. I love it as a zombie killer and also as a great last ditch tool. It’s smaller than most other handguns too so that’s important before I find a holster

I'd put the colt in B tier, and the fx in A tier.. maybe even S tier for the fx. .45 can stun/knock back zombies.. this can be a lifesaver if you're dealing with a large group of zombies. 9mm doesn't offer this same stun/knock back effect.

MKII All the way through, and is a good backup for the SG in case of a jam. 😎👍

Awesome Vid! Honestly, I'd move up the Kolt 45 because I've killed Geared with it. I'm not on the MK2 team because I don't kill zombies if I don't ABSOLUTELY need to. I dont leave trails, I don't make those mistakes.

Surprised the p1 even got a C, urggh. Glad to see the Amphibian mk2 enjoy S tier with the Deagle. Also, maybe the best thing about the Derringer is that it isn't noticeable in a holster, can be quite handy if youre being stuck up, dropped everything else because you're being sooo compliant but just want to try and YOLO your way out of it like a madman. I think it deserves a higher spot just for that reason.

The MK2 is God tier zed killer and I've used it successfully in early game pvp before.

I two-carry; The MKII (.22 cal) is the best quiet Zombie-killer, ...and the Deagle (.357 cal = suppressed+optic) is for killing HUMANS.

FX45 #1 I like it because it stumbles zombies which helps control a swarm. IJ 70 #2 .380 suppressed is super quiet 1911 #3 357. #4

I think the FX-45 deserves an A, it's a step above the 9mm hanguns with it's subsonic ammo and can still be used against players effectively in a desperate situation or for a stealth kill.

I agrea with yours but the longhorn is a S tier to me having a compact sniper rifle with a scope and suppressor is good and u can hide it in ur pockets making it easy to hide and a 1 shot 1 kill in close range

Im late to this but im three go to guns are MLOCK, IJ70 and revolver, With a mlock early on with decent amount of ammo, i can easily defend myself, the ironsights are also decent if theres no attachments, ij70, its small, hard to notice, and has decent damage stats, the ammo is common and and overall an okay gun, The revolver is also great earlt for one reason, pure damage, plus is can be sawed off for better spacing.

My colt got done dirty ! It’s the fastest firing pistol in the game and super accurate 🖤

MK II favourite zombie killer in dayz and own the mk iv silenced in real life so a lil biased.

IJ with suppressor, fantastic zed killer, with 2 spare mags it only takes the same space as the MKII.

I got two kills with the Dringer while sneaking up on them, while I agree it should be low on the list. It can turn the tide of an interaction real quickly, if put to a more underhanded style of play

Outside of being a fresh spawn with nothing better pistols are only really for killing infected, at the end of the day you just want a quite, suppressed pistol with a good amount of ammo for it. Even though the deagle is the most powerful suppressed pistol it's actually the worst for killing infected, its ammo is rarer than the others, it's too loud and even suppressed it will still alert infected within 20 meters or so and players can hear it from a bit further away. Realistically you want a mk2, ij70, glock or fx45, all other pistols are too loud or worse versions of these four. As soon as a player has any kind of armor on pistols become more or less worthless, they are an infected and animal killing tool first and only a pvp weapon in desperation or with no other option.

Revolver can be sawn down to a snub nose bringing it's damage up to higher than the degal.

I really wanna use the 1911 for the aesthetic, but apparently you could only find the mags in tier 2 areas. Can anyone suggest an area where they're abundant? Checking out those military tents on roads aren't worth it.
