To me as a player who started out when this was just a mod, and now 10 years later, the game is still evolving, still improving and still fun. THAT is why I love DayZ. Car pushing has to probably be my most exciting new feature.

I hope the fix the Humvee! The low end torque is terrible. It cant even make it up a small hill without momentum. The M3S as it is now is already better at hill climbing than the Humvee.

I just want them to revert the clothes durability. I hate my clothes going from pristine to badly damaged in just 8 swipes.

The one thing i want for console is them to make controls more user friendly. Why in the world they make double tap Y the same button to reload your gun and the same button to turn on your headlamp is beyond me. Same thing with driving vehicles. No reason the button to accelerate and turn the vehicle off completely should be the same button. And also the button to throw items shouldnt be the same as the button used to open doors. These are just a few examples that have screwed me over in recent times.

The new spawn system is definitely interesting for sure. It's gonna thin out the weak for getting more inland. I really really hope the new gun is a SCAR variant!

TY for this update. Ive been playing on console for only two years now, on and off. The cars seem more stable now. The environment sounds are just POPPING. It will only get better besides whatever bugs come along. DAYZ is the ONLY video game that has made me produce real adrenaline lmao. You just never know what peoples intentions are in that god forsaken place.

i love how the devs are using each update to add a few new sounds to actions/events that used to be silent. each change slightly changes the meta and gets it closer to that full immersion. imagine hiding in a building and hesitating to cut a shirt on the floor up and use it for bandages out of fear that the guy looking for you will hear you tearing the shirt up. they do already have sounds for bandaging obviously, but stuff like this adds a new layer to a lotta tense PvP scenarios

The new spawn system sounds awesome. I rarely return to my loot anyways. Every life is brand new. But if I can play with my friends without it taking hours to meet up I will take it

The spawn bubble is HUGE!! Chernarus biggest problem is the lack of interaction within the first 1-2 hours. Is the main reason I stopped playing Chernarus. Other modded maps do the start faaaar better than the DayZ original does. Hopefully this will result in me going back to Chernarus more often. Great vid, as ever bud. KUTGW

I am particularly excited to see this new head gear in action. The new gun hopefully is some sort of DMR maybe like an m110. That would be a superb weapon to have on console.

People seem to have neglected the most important issue with spawning in close proximity with others....less loot.

I liked the changes they did with the Xbox controls in experimental. But the force of habit has made me restrain myself with duct tape a couple times rather then repair my gear aha. I don't know if it's just a problem for me but hopefully the lag in big towns has gotten a bit better

Imo, you should be able to have a in-game dayz friends list and if you join a friend that's already (been) playing, you spawn in one of the bubbles considered closest to them. That way it's not a matter of starting a new sever or having to travel a million miles each time if one of you were to die. I don't mind having to do a bit of travelling to go pick someone up, but asking them to make a stone knife and kill themselves over and over is long as balls

Starting out on a near full server is darn hard anyways. If everyone spawns closer together the loot will be even harder to find as it will probably already have been picked-up. If they do this, I suggest they increase the spawn rate for items in each spawn bubble when it is active. So say instead of new bags would normally re-spawn in after 45 minutes once picked up, make it more like 20 minutes - or something like that. The learning curve is already steep this could inadvertently make it even steeper on more popular servers.

WELL,That makes me want to hop right back into DAYZ...all the huge life changing differences...guh. They should focus there efforts on Arma Reforgers DAYZ. Many of these exact things came working from the start...and now there's zombies in the game and traders and roaming AI...Dont see how standalone can compete...especially with earth shattering updates like this lol.

Every patch i keep hoping they fixed the game breaking bugs but they end up introducing new mechanics that will most likely introduce new bugs. I just want the base game to be fixed idc about new skyboxes pushing cars new hats or any of that BS and if they cant fix the bugs just start working on dayz 2 in a new engine.

I'm new to the game, two months in. That being said I don't understand how wipes work. I understand why these are necessary, I've run across duper bases that are so large I'm surprised they don't crash my game. What I don't understand is why they would wipe Livonia when nothing there has changed.

do you have an idea of when They will add Modded servers like those PC mods they have will ever come to console? i think it will be alot more interesting considering the amount of other weapon and loot spawns it can bring to the DayZ environment

after 1.22 the server I use went down for 3 weeks , the mods didn't like the patch hehe. let's see what 1.23 will bring us , maybe some riot and more rl activity

I suppose these things matter to people stuck on consuls or those pc players that haven't discovered community servers yet. I always hate how the dev team acts like they are adding something new and great when all they are doing for the most part is returning things to game that were once removed or adding mods created by the community. As far as PC goes, I'm not sure what the point of official servers are anymore. Most of the PC player base plays on community servers as it is now anyway. The dev team should focus more on bug fixes with the core game. The community is already doing a better job of updating the game. Everyone is all excited about the car push and better vehicle handling. Both have been around for a while on community servers.

How about fixing the constant game crashes and glitches while driving. I die more from game crashes and vehicle glitches than anything else. Game is like being in a abusive relationship.

So we are all still dying of starvation and thirst to say nothing of zombie diseases. All this other cosmetic junk doesn't stop any of that happening.

Even though it's been many years since I've built a base inside a castle, I can't see players who do so often being very excited about them removing the ability to do so now with all that unnecessary and unneeded wood bracing placed inside, especially seeing how terrible base building is in general with placing "kits" in proximity to structures and objects (let alone how terrible it is just having a wall and a watchtower and considering that "base building" 😅🙄)..... there's no way a fence kit is going to be able to be placed anywhere near that thing anymore. I do like the new "skybox" and lighting/weather/cloud changes.... still wish it was more gloomy more often like DayZ of old though. I'm still crossing my fingers that that "new" V3S Command wreck (new because we already had a V3S Command wreck, this one shown is clearly different, medical skinned, with benches inside) turns out to be a wreck, that has lootable parts for a drivable V3S Command Version, you know, since we were shown and told we were getting the Command Version years ago and never did get it(along with the Uncovered Cargo variant that held 10 people we used to have, and the bare chassis version)...but still waiting for our Multicar truck and S1023 minivan. Now with them mentioning moving 9x39 specific weapon spawns around, I hope "one"(if more than) of the "new" firearms we get is the Groza-4 OTs-14 that fires 9x39, that we were suown and told we were getting years ago, that and a SR3 Vikhr would be dope (as long as they buff 9x39 for damage a bit, or at least, it's armor penetration values like it should)... otherwise, they mentioned "high caliber/powerful"(I forget exactly what they said, something to that effect), would be nice to see the return of the M14 and or, the M14 DMR in .308.... I don't want to see "new" weapons, I want the weapons we either had, were told were coming, or were shown to be coming.... which are plentiful.... there's still over 20 if i can recall correctly, missing firearms, melee, and non-lethal weapons still missing.... I want them. Besides those 2 hats that I think are pretty cool (I hope they keep adding, or are adding more now).... I also like that vehicle push.... even though I hope they adjust it so it stops animation better, because that looks terrible 😅 the car moves away and dude is still pushing like it's still there ...that looks ridiculous 😂

Please, how can report admin abuse on officila server??? Is happenning every time when you build a base and stock the looy inside. Is kill me when im in the base, with all gate locked. Then he get out all my loot from crates to the ground. End when i respawn and go to the base location, when im near is kill me from distance with knife hits. He dont let me to aprouch the base. When finaly i enter the game after thew hours, i manage to reach my base, and all my loot is disaepear. Is very bad that has happening in official vanila server. I spent nights to built may base and get the loot and then that is happening every time. I cant play anymore, and for that i will ask for refund to bohemia. I love dayz, is my favorite game, i like to play on vanila servers, but this is fucking wrong. And my guees is that the boemians know this and do not nothing about that. I belive that this admins are from bohemia for clean the servers. Because you have a base with items inside make de server to work heavy. But is not my fault, they must asure the best servers when you sell a game like this. Is total disrespectful for the gamers. And that why i want my money back!!! I dont wont to play anymore.
