I'd like to see an update that gives base building an overhaul. I mean, you see all the possibilities on modded servers for one but I'd like to see more options for people like myself who are mostly lone wolves and therefore prefer not to rely on big visible wooden structures and such. I have a good spot on the server I am on now but I would like more storage and protective options. The same with tools... maybe there could be a system of crafting short lived rudimentary tools like you can craft a backpack out of twigs and burlap? Just a thought 🤔

They should work on door animation. Whenever I run from a zombie or I can pushed on a wall when closing it’ll glitch real nasty.

They NEED to nerf the damage zombies do to clothing. It is obnoxious and tedious and provides nothing but a nuisance. Sometimes the devs just fix things that ain’t broke and it’s stupidily annoying. Anyways this update looks promising tho

I haven't heard many people talk about the fact that the SR-3 can accept a suppressor, it just doesn't come integral to the weapon

the helmet is an american PASGT helmet with a marpat camo cover. the new weapon is an sr3m. it shoots 9x39 and takes vss, as val and sr3 magazines so vss mags hold 10 rounds, val mags for 20 and sr3 mags hold 30 rounds of 9x39. these magazines are all backwards compatible so you could have a vss or an as val with 30 round mags if they add the 30 round sr3 mags. there is also 3 versions of this firearm. first one was the sr3 then the sr3m that will be added to the game, and the sr3mp which is designed to be used with a visor. you can detach the stock and mount it onto the base of the pistol grip and that will allow you to look through the sights when using a visor.

IF that is the new weapon, that's an SR-3/SR-3M. Roughly the same size as an AKS-74U, but chambered for the 9x39mm round.

Blunt weapons being buffed against zombies is gonna be awesome. I love using bats for the aesthetic and it kinda sucked having to basically not consider half the melee options.

So I can literally just use a tree as cover as long as I'm in the cone? Improvised face cover? Definitely a snow map coming.

I love that this game keeps evolving, but in my opinion, it's the wrong direction. This ain't Arma so why do they keep doing military and gunfight stuff? Why don't make the game more interesting in another way such as new environmental threats, new zombies, or some new zombie mechanics, as they herde themself and wonder around the map, new animals, survival mechanics etc. Why not stuff like this, but guns instead?

Dayz has been around for a decade and it still hasn’t hit 50% of its features they said we would have years ago . Missing features : soft skills , barricading , advanced medical and surgery system , advanced cooking system , dynamic roaming zombie hordes , boats , bikes , horses , helicopters , trains , planes , the ability to restore electricity to whole towns for lights and other amenities (not just a PA system). Overall if you’ve been here the entire time since December 2013 , you would be just as disappointed as I am . I really can’t believe all you “gamers” are giving dayz so much praise when it’s missed its mark completely. Shame none of you play games with eyes open , I guess we’ve all gotten used to half baked games (and dayz was the first to become half baked and miss all of its goalposts).
