I think Fyodor takes RLS since he has less to work with and mainly used weak goons and other gangs to do his dirty work and his strategies are a bit more realistic especially with that he had to work with. Intellect can be detaed upon but overall Dazai wins. Really though, I don't understand Dazai's strategy with Chuuya. What was the point of brining him if he wasn't even gonna fight on his side? If you still want to use Chuuya, just tell him to kill Fyodor with the gun or knife he already has. It's not like Fyodor knew he wasn't a vampire. Or if you were concerned he would not survive then not bring him at all since then Fyodor would have died to your many traps and you know that with the Time Stop ability you could easily kill him without him being able to defend himself. That way you would still be able to potentially assist the detective agency by removing the curse, or even better get out of jail since the military police would still need his ability as a countermeasure to the vampires.

@@kyleandreidinglasan9531 the reason dazai didn’t get chuuya to kill fyodor is likely because he didn’t know his ability and so this would all be for nothing. He also had to wait for all of his plans to be set up first, otherwise killing him would be useless when the rest of the world is doomed. If he left the prison (which either of them could have done at any time very easily) then the other would be able to give out orders freely.

You say it's because Dazai was scared Chuuya would die but Dazai could have just killed Fyodor with time stop, or the gun in sigma's pocket, or just telling chuuya to shoot him with his gun, or tell chuuya to send a single pebble at him, or not let chuuya go at all and send him to help the agency, also whether or not Dazai escapes would not affect the main story line since it's not like they could get there in time or influence someone. All of Dazai's plans were already set up and escaping would not affect them since the detective agency would not know he escaped and I think really if Dazai tried. In the prison scenario I can't find a single win condition from Fyodor that would not result in him dying. Fukuchi would probably still kill him if he was truly evil and Bram could just order the vampires to track down Fyodor and Fukuchi would know the majority of bases they contain.

@@kyleandreidinglasan9531 Dazai and Fyodor were both communicating everything with the outside in real time using their own methods. Without one of them strategising with their team, the other side would have won. Think Fyodor and the coins, and when one order was almost taken by Ranpo and the others. Both of them were being super cautious of one another because if they let their guard down at any point then they would lose. Chuuya couldn't have killed Fyodor because Dazai didn't know what his ability or plans were, and so had Chuuya follow him to make sure that he didn't do anything that Dazai didn't account for. Basically both didn't want to go all in because they feared the other side.

I very well agree with the Chuuya part. However, I guess there is still something of a counterargument for the Time Stop Portion (it has a hard flaw, though) Dazai picked Sigma for his little present, and Fyodor picked the card to leave. It would appear that Dazai needed Fyodor to leave and open the door so he could get out as well However, the very obvious flaw is that he could've just stole everything in the case with timestop and ran away, but who knows what Nikolai would've done for cheating so idk 🤷🏻‍♂️ (just occurred to me he could've killed Nikolai as well, so Dazai had no excuse for this ☠️)

@@TheWeakest_ Also Nikolai allowed interference in the game with him letting Chuuya help Fyodor. Also time stop would have also stopped Nikolai and after Dazai dealt with them he could have just taken the card and every other gift to ensure his escape. I can see why he chose Sigma in order to get information out of Fyodor's corpse but really all he needed were those coin bombs and Fyodor dies. Dazai was even smart by letting threats like Q and other dangerous gifted alive so killing him would be pretty foolish since he has the only ability to stop out of control gifted. I think this applies to a lot of Dazai's plans honestly like when he joined Fyodor in Dead Apple in order to beat the main bad guy (whose name slips from my memory right now). When he could honestly have just beaten his ability since his ability is literally nothing but to cancel other's abilities so he could have stopped the rampaging abilities. Even if you want to say that he needed to get close to the heart of all abilities in order to stop it with his ability. There is really no reason why he should be informing Fyodor of his plan since destroying all gifted is literally Fyodor's entire goal. Dazai is a genius in his plans. I think the writers honestly just leave a lot of plot holes in them

@@TheWeakest_ And don't even get me started on how Ranpo literally deduced that Dazai told Aktugawa that he should only interfere when there is a smoke signal, or that Aktugawa was there, did not just get Atsushi out of there with him using the book. I think with some logical reasoning you could argue it is not that hard to realize they would be exiting by helicopter since it would be hard prevent detection of a ship and all he needs to do is ask Bram where the vampires are in order to deduce that they had to go by helicopter. (I am just now realizing that Dazai could also just have killed Fyodor on the spot in the cafe since the port mafia would want him dead and he already has comitted several large crimes like almost destroying Yokahama and causing an intest war among the Port mafia and armed detective agency)
