You can do that as well :). This is the newer protocol. I think sometimes when you dried Transform too well it became very smooth and the polish wouldn’t bond that well. I think that was the issue but I’m not 100% sure…

Yes! The colors you mentioned I guess are replacing the discontinued shades... The brushes in the small sizes are awesome too!

@@TheSalonLife I think a pro and con video would be great! According to the admin of the unofficial DD Fb group, DD’s customer service is not that good. They won’t stand by their product when it comes to fading. This gal bugged them repeatedly about a fader and they replaced 1 of her faders. Their website says no returns, so if someone does experience fading on the nail, they won’t be able to return the polish. To me, if a new bottle fades on the nail, that is a fault of the polish and should be replaced. I think they use vegan pigments which aren’t that stable. If they can’t make a pigment stable because of the ingredients, they shouldn’t make those colors or use stable pigments but put a warning in the product that it isn’t vegan. They also removed some tips of how to keep the polishes from fading from the product page. Of course, according to multiple people, the tips don’t work. A couple of days ago or a week or so, on the polishes that have the fading warning, their site said to put base coat over the color and then top coat to prevent fading. I saw this tip myself. According to multiple people, this does not prevent fading, so it’s good that they took it off. I assumed that putting the base coat over the color would stop the fading, which is why I bought Winkle. I do have Winkle on, a fader, and haven’t had fading. I don’t know if the people that do are swimming or spending a lot of time in the sun or what. I do not go swimming or spend time in the sun. I hate the heat and avoid the sun. Regarding nail imperfections, some don’t mind theirs showing and some do. For those that do, they might not like DD or might have to be careful about what colors they buy. DD doesn’t offer very many polish finishes that hide imperfections. Polishes with flakes and/or micro holo glitter (easy to remove) and/or other things hide imperfections. However, I have plenty of creams by Night Owl Lacquer and other indie makers that don’t show ridges with a ridge filling base coat. I got Ocean Motion-beautiful color. Truth. Winkle-which is beautiful and currently on my nails and unfaded so far. I avoid the sun like the plague as I freckle and burn, but multiple people have experience this color fading on the nail. I swapped Winkle when I found it was a fader (there’s a DD swap FB page). I also got Love. Seduction, Paparazzi Pink, and another are on their way to me via a swap. I might buy Justice and Blue Bloods because I have 348 rewards points (birthday was 8/1 and I got 150 points). So I might as well use my $30 of reward points. After that, I don’t think I’m buying more. Some people have reported uneven fading of the polish on their nails with one color, Plastic Soul, I think. So it ends up looking blotchy. I’ve seen photos. A definite negative to me. I do think DD has some good pro’s but also some cons. Every product has pros and cons. The drying time and the longevity are great. For me, the cons out weigh the pros and I’d rather wear the indies. I actually have over 2700 indie polishes, so I do have plenty of them to wear. If I knew how to legally mail you polish, I’d send you some indie polishes to try out on Mr. Salon Life.

Hi Ginny! No, Revive is a thinner. Much needed as you keep using DD. For polishes and top coat.

I didn’t see revive as part of these new kits but transformer is part of the kit.

The green one is kind of semi sheer. I could see that more when I was polishing longer nails with it as you can see it in the other video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/arqkptKIkp6pmqM.html

You can also put them over white. They will look brighter and pop more :)

@@TheSalonLife Well, at least, I was promised they'd notify me, when international shipment will be offered. But honestly I don't understand the reluctance. Holo taco does ship from America. So does a number of brands e.g. starrily or cirque colors, if not directly, then the products are available in local based onlinestores like hypnotic polish or nailland. So, when there is a way why don't they? 🤔
