I LOVE this product. It's the best on the market. I can wear it for about 1-2 months and then my nails start peeling and I have to wait until they stop to wear it again🤨 I have the worlds most fragile nails, but this stuff is the best out there.

Oh my goodness! You do a wonderful job! Thank you so much for sharing this video because I tried using a stamping plate and was very unhappy with my results. I can see a couple of things that I didn't do correctly, so I'll be watching this video a couple of times before I try again. First, I'll be getting some latex because that makes a huge difference--I found that the white stamping polish is very hard to clean from skin. I use an angled eye liner smudger (looks very much like yours) to clean up because that angle is easy to work around the nails and is just stiff enough. Second, I see how you press way down with the stamper and now I know that I didn't use nearly enough pressure. My hands are just too shaky to paint those smile lines freehand so I'll be very happy to master the stamping plate and stamper. I agree with you that Transform is a beautiful nude color by itself. I also like to add one more coat of the sheer pink over the white tips to make them look a bit more natural. I'll see you on the DD Facebook page!

Fascinating to watch you stamping a French manicure! Never have tried stamping on my nails. I do thank you for the referral to Dazzle Dry. It is a fabulous product and the results are well worth the time it takes to complete a DD manicure.

Dazzle Dry is awesome! The main benefit of using DD polishes is the incredibly fast dry time. If you do a basic manicure of just base + color + top coat, it really is rock hard dry after only 5 minutes. I add lots of layers to get a plump look, so I let mine dry longer. I have a more comprehesive video here if you're interested: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bqeRi6tz05e4oI0.htmlsi=hHIQfs1yNdy2D4ff

It sure is. Thankfully Dazzle Dry dries so quickly, so it's not a big deal. I completed this entire manicure in an hour (40 minutes of actual painting/stamping + 20 minutes of drying). And it was completely dry at that point, unlike regular polish that is "dent-able" for hours after. :)

I LOVE DAZZLE DRY! I've been using them since they launched! It's all I use! Like I said I love the polishes just not the prices now! It's since tripled! But I won't use anything else! Oh and BTW no need to wait so long in between to dry. By the time you finish painting your last nail the first one is completely dry! 😊 Why it's my favorite!
@kwernerdesign

I tend to get bubbles if I don’t wait between coats, so the drying time is crucial for me. Maybe it’s the environment I live in? Super dry and desert. Not sure. I just don’t want to have to redo manicures because of bubbles so I play it safe and always wait between coats. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The DD base has never smeared my stamping and I stamp basically every time I do my nails. If I forget to warm up the base coat before i hit it with my heat gun for a minute… that’s only if I don’t remember to have it warm up while I’m doing my prep though.

Happy New Year! The nails look amazing! I was wondering if you have any tips for doing that technique with the nondominant hand?
@kwernerdesign
@kwernerdesign 6 ай бұрын
I basically do everything with my dominant hand until the last minute when I have my left hand hold the stamper. I sort of push my right fingers into the stamper more than push the stamper onto them. If that makes sense.

How long does this take you and how long does it usually last? Is it hard on your nails? Mine are damaged already so I’m looking for something that won’t harm them more
@kwernerdesign
@kwernerdesign 6 ай бұрын
This was about an hour, including the 20 minutes of drying at the end. If your nails are quite damaged currently, I would recommend not wearing polish just yet, and instead focus on care. Do warm oil soaks (do a search online for more details), lots of cuticle oil, and possibly introduce a vitamin for nails. Once your nails have recovered for a while, then try Dazzle Dry. It works best if there isn’t any damage. That being said, I know of many people who switch from traditional gel polish or nail enhancements and jump directly into Dazzle Dry. They say it helped them grow out the damage and then once things were good again, then the Dazzle Dry would last a full week. Just know that you might not get the longevity at first when it’s applied to damaged nails. The longest I’ve gone with one manicure is 13 days, and then I changed my polish because I wanted a new color. Natural nail people suggest only wearing the same polish for 6-7 days. At that point the product on the nails is starting to age and it doesn’t protect the nail underneath as much. So it’s really best to do weekly polish changes. Just my two cents.
@jennmakescardsforfun
@jennmakescardsforfun 6 ай бұрын
@@kwernerdesign Thank you. I will look into the warm oil. I will have to wait on the vitamins due to health reasons (which is why they are damaged in the first place-not due to any gel, acrylics or dips). I use a non-toxic all free nail treatment and cuticle renewer daily which has blueberries in it but it’s just not fun, not girly. Plus it leaves a slight blue tint on my nails so people either think I’m not getting enough oxygen or I’m turning into Violet from Willy Wonka, lol!

Thanks so much for posting this, super informative! I've been using Dazzle Dry for the past 6 months and love the system. If I wanted to stamp using other colors, can I just use Dazzle Dry Lacquer polishes or does it only working using the stamping polishes? It looks like they only have the stamping polishes in black or white and I wanted to use different colors.
@kwernerdesign
@kwernerdesign 3 ай бұрын
Yes, after far as Dazzle Dry polishes, only the ones specifically for stamping work for stamping. And unfortunately, I think Dazzle Dry is discontinuing all of their stamping lacquer colors. It makes me so sad! I think they only have black in their shop now. But you can use other brands of stamping polish on top of your Dazzle Dry manicure. You’d use the same steps I show in this video, but use the other brand of stamping polish. I really like Moyou and Maniology stamping polish colors.

Cool! Really pretty. Thanks for the BTS view. I always wondered how a French manicure was done. What is the purpose in capping your tips?
@kwernerdesign
@kwernerdesign 6 ай бұрын
Generally that's where you'll get the most wear. The tips of your nails can run into things and usually if any chipping of the polish is going to happen it's on that free edge. So if you can, I find capping the tip to prevent any of that. :)

I never knew about Dazzle Dry! I use Sally Hansel’s Quick Dry and LOVE it! Wonder if I could do a French with that stamper and SH? This is SO cool; TFS! ❤
@kwernerdesign
@kwernerdesign 6 ай бұрын
Some of the SH Quick Dry polishes work great for stamping! It really just depends on the color. If you’re going for a French manicure, I’d recommend just buying a white stamping polish from Maniology or Moyou London at the same time when you buy the stamping plate, stamper, and scraper. White polishes specifically made for stamping really do provide a better result.

Sadly, the regular Dazzle Dry colors dry too quickly to be used for stamping. However, you can use stamping polishes from other brands on top of a regular plain Dazzle Dry manicure. Just substitute it and follow the same steps. :)

I agree with others...fascinating to watch the process! Had no idea about stamping on nails... Trying to get back doing my own nails and leaving the salon behind. However, my left hand does not seem to do a good job painting my right hand nails! Is that something that just takes practice? I'd never do a French manicure...too stark for me, so loved you comments about stopping early on with the ridge filler...that's all I want to do! Would you discuss polish remover, please? Are they all basically the same or not???
@kwernerdesign
@kwernerdesign 6 ай бұрын
Yes, it does become easier with practice. Also, be sure to brace both hands on a tabletop to make it more steady, and just breathe and take your time. :) I use Zoya Remove+ and have been using it for years. I think the scent isn't as strong as some other removers and it doesn't dry out my nails and skin. Because I do many layers of Dazzle Dry, it does take a tiny bit more time to remove, though. I just hold a soaked cotton pad on each nail for about 10 seconds and then wipe to remove.

Hi, can one use the blue light to help dry the polishes and stamp ?
@kwernerdesign
@kwernerdesign 6 ай бұрын
Dazzle Dry polishes do not require a light. They will dry very quickly on their own. If you are using a gel polish that requires curing in a UV or LED lamp, then you would do that before stamping. Stamping with gel polishes is just a bit different, so I would recommend doing a search here on KZfaq for that for more specific instruction.
