@@GrizzlyTeen It's just so tough. Think about competitive DBD. That is played differently. It's all about breaking the Tunneling and Camping from the Killer

Just need new game modes. Don't destroy the base game itself. Most pvp games have a variety of modes. Side objectives to collect things to make gens work would be interesting. A rush mode for killer and survivor would be a cool idea. Capture the flag for killers and survivors could be something.

Variety is important. Snowmen ain't it. New Tomes ain't it. We need to break the stigma. Period.

First off Windows is training wheels. It’s ridiculous and SO obvious to spot. It’s a major crutch and should only be in the tutorial. Second there should be some secondary required action for gens or for each person in your lobby the gens should take a percentage longer to do with 4 people the most. That way SWFs aren’t nearly impossible. 4 mediocre survivors can be unstoppable when all 4 are talking. This function wasn’t intended either. They have to use 3rd party ways to speak, it definitely an issue.

they should make fun game modes instead of adding snowmen and thining we'll be satisfied. a lot of content like dlc isnt available to many players because they dont want to spend money on the game and the grind to get the characters with shards is too much. they could probably quite easily add a hide and seek gamemode that would be so fun. even if they didnt want to add game modes, they need to address problems like the kickgen killer build and the one million bugs in the game

We definitely need more pace when it comes to bug fixes. The Twins are in a state where you literally can lose any ability for the rest of the game. (even M1) And further we need new game modes for sure. . I don't know for how long the community will put up with this cycle if I'm honest.

@@modern_agony yeah, ive only been playing for a month and i can already start to feel the monotony of the game. they should really he addressing the massive amount of bugs and the poor quality of gameplay for both survivors and killers

Right ! Making new cosmetics and doing the same events every years won't save the game. I think the only thing that brings ppl are the DLC like Resident Evil.

My point exactly. Think about the game without the Project: W Update happening this year. The game would be in a way tougher spot.

A fun LTM to me would be a team competition. Team A and B both get 4 survivors and a killer. Team A killer goes against Team B survivors and vise versa. The goal is to see whay side can escape first

I wouldnt say its the worst year, we got wesker and Sadako, both being known in horror and gaming in general, dredge as well is a fun experience, but yeah the knight was a complete failure

The game itdelf gets boring quickly there are no gamemodes or something just repetiv gameplay where you sweat for your life just to get a 1k out of a swf

But some extra modes or a seperation from hard sweats and casual players would already do a lot. You have a MMR system. Going forward you could easily implement a Rank Mode without any problems whatsoever.

Change is not necessarily good, stagnation as well doesnt mean something is bad. Change just because of it can attract players as much it can lead to them leaving. Personally I like dbd the way it's now, I would change some aspects, but if the game changed massively, I think I would just quit.

Fair point, I don't necessarily mean that we need to touch the gameplay idea and change that, but going forward we need to re-create the grind of the good old days. I don't wanna raise the argument that a Ranked Mode could bring a lot of grind, but it would be something. The trend is more downhill than uphill, and that's sadly undeniable,

I would say i agree alot w the video, but saying dead heart 50% til 30% isnt a big ammount is a bad take, 30% is like say 1 in 4, pluss a 5% chanse another player will have it, 5 isnt alot 🤏🥶 Also new dead heart is more dependent on the sitsuvasjon than like before, where u just clicked E, still not a great balance cuz of server but a big improvment into making survivor plot twist armor removed from the game, just like w desisive being more dependent on where the survivor chooses to go down. Alot of ups and down for the game, not sure what i personally think of the uptate, but arguebly more skill based metal.

Just looking at the numbers won't paint a good picture. 50 to 30 is a big change, agreed, nonetheless we also need to acknowledge that Dead Hard is slowly and carefully moving back to it's old stats. Ever since the Update it has steadily climbed the ladder and is still doing it rn.

i would love to see a Mortal Kombat chapter and a call of duty ZOMBIES chapter too. those would be sick i think the cod zombies would be the biggest chapter of the year.

@@modern_agony will its on my wishlist i think a cod zombies chapter would be bigger chapter then resident evil. the map should be mob of the dead (blood of the dead) the killer should be Brutus also known as the Warden. Edward Richtofen, Tank Dempsey. and the legendary skins are Takeo Masaki and Nikolai Belinski that would be so sick man. the Mortal Kombat chapter idea is based off the first movie. sony blade,johnny cage or Jax Briggs without his metal arms are the survivors and maybe having Scorpion or Goro or even Shang Tsung as the killer and the map would be on Shang Tsung's Island in ruins tho. but hey that's just my on my wish list. I mean Mortal Kombat 12 is going gonna announced soon and man wish that they put trapper or oni or spirit as guest characters in mk12 and I love to see. it's kind of weird how I like to see Legion or trickster in Injustice 3 as a guest characters

@@modern_agony i don't have a discord but if you type in on google cod zombies chapter it's been around for a while theres even a fan made video of this i'll leave the link here. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z8t9fsufkq-bj6c.html but the mortal kombat chapter idea has been out for a while too. I always thought of a Star Wars Chapter having Darth Vader as the Killer and the map would be in his castle on Mustafar. but George Lucas said in an interview that Darth Vader was not meant to be scary buy hell he looks menacingly in star wars jedi fallen order and the latest series of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I stopped dbd in January 2019 with 650h of play. I had in survivor: unbreakable, dead hard, resilience and ds. I put boil over (remove ds), because as I resumed the game 2 weeks ago, my ranking is low and I fall against beginners. I put some madness thanks to that 🤣 Otherwise the build is very drinkable and very playable while I hadn't touched the game for almost 4 years (I always manage to moonwoolk). In short, I am the perfect example of what you say. I didn't spend any bloodpoints on survivors. PS: sorry for English, I'm French I use Google translate 😅

3k hours n let me tell u when resident evil resistance came out I quit dbd for that game alone and the resistance devs stop caring for the game so I returned to dbd but since I’m a bully as survivor I get face camped all day and killer is impossible since they made gen speed insanely quick you are forced to run slowdowns making killer trash n I main nurse
