Hello friends,
How to make a proper voltage converter today using only a Zener Diode.
Don't use any other ic like 7805 series ic. In this video I have tried to show how to get five volt output using only one Zener Diode. I hope you find the video useful. Thanks.

hi, i am thinking of using 9v battery to power esp32. I learned that Esp32 needs to be fed with 5V. Should I use an IC7805 regulator or a 5V zener Diode to step 5V from a 9V battery? Which has less energy loss. Which is more stable?

Thank you for asking the question. It is best to use a 5 volt zener diode to obtain a stable 5 volt output from a 9 volt battery with minimal power dissipation. That is shown in this video.

ICs are relatively more expensive than Zener diodes. And Zener diode can only be used in small circuits. Thank you

Didn’t work for me. The voltage dropped only to 6.3v instead of 5v. What could be the issue?

How much Amp.? Getting minimum 2 Amp.?

The output will be slightly less than the ampere input you give. However, it is better not to give more input than this zener diode 2 ampere.
