I just bought this game, and I have to say I found this video so much better than simply sitting down and reading the rules. Now, when I do read the rules, I'll have a proper frame of reference. Thank you for filming and sharing!

Prospero Hall I think these people played your game wrong, for example when cat women’s item “the whip” the description says if she wins she moves the target one square, instead they count it as a knock down ?

Obviously this could be a waaaay much faster game if not ignoring first rule from Gaining Points section: "If any control markers show your color at the end of a round, gain 1 point. Ignore this when playing with two characters per side." :)

Damn, I wished for the "comeback is real" scenario but it was too late 😢 Nonetheless, a great game. Perhaps do this again but with set crossovers? That'd be fun! I really like this game!

In the rule book for gaining extra points, it specifies that the character can be adjacent to the point marker or on its square.

I would imagine that the entire villain side schemed (Heath Ledger Joker style) a fake control scenario to bait the Bat and his helpers away from the batcave - which succeeded lol.

Batman Funkoverse is probably the best Funkoverse game. Gotta say that Catwoman should have probably been a Hero but I don’t mind it since I love her as a character.

At the 11:00 minute mark, I am pretty sure Joker's mystery box should not have been placed beside the "A" because it is not within the line of sight. The wall would prevent him from placing it there. Can anyone confirm this was incorrect placement?

apologies if this im being dumb. in the end of round rules, it says characters return to your starting area. does this refer to knocked out characters coming back into the game?

Can you give all three characters on your team an item if you have more items? Can you give all three the same item if you for example bought three copies and have three batarangs?

I know this is really late, but I only just noticed this. I feel really dumb for not noticing it right away. The ‘good guy’ team aka Batman,Robin etc. are only using 1 item, the Batarang yet the ‘bad guy’ team aka Joker, Harley Quinn ect. is using the Mallet AND the whip. Disclaimer:I don’t have this game (yet) and I have had no access to the rules but it doesn’t seem fair to have 1 team use 1 item while the other uses 2. Please let me know what the rules are on items and, here’s another side note, this COULD’VE been a game-changer 😂🤷‍♂️

Tangy Tacco in the rules it says that each team may have as many items as the want but they should be equal so yes the bad guys cheated

Im trying to figure this game out but im just a little confused. During batgirls turn around time 39:15. She did her free one step ahead move then did a flip kick on harley. Why didnt she do another action move since you are aloud to do two action moves a turn? Does batgirls one step ahead count as an action move?

Batgirl's free move couldn't get her adjacent to Harley because the wall was in the way, so she had to use a move action as well.

I'm late on this but I was under the impression that as soon a your character is adjacent to a point marker you get the point right away and put the marker on the cool down track, which then goes back to the same place.

In the instructions it says that it becomes "a new action" to be able to pick up point markers. You may also stand directly on top of the marker and not take it

at 30:38 how does she use "whip" twice? is it not an item that has to be put on the cooldown track immediately after using? Also...i know this video is ooooooooold so im really hoping someone is still reading these =)

King K one of the things you can do per action is move up to 2 spaces. If you use both actions as movement, then you can move up to 4 spaces.

One move equals "up to 2 squares", and one move is one action. So you can move a total of 4 squares if you use both actions to move

I think they played a lot of this incorrectly.. even though I know it’s new.. but the whip isn’t an attack, right..? if you win, you can move the opponent one square, not knock them out. It’s supposed to be to keep them at bay or bring them closer to make an attack, I thought. Also, they moved 4 and used another action. That’s technically 3 actions, isn’t it? even though you’re only allowed 2? Very confusing

I don't think that's how it should apply as the card states: "you MAY move a character 1 square"; therefore, by giving the player the optional choice to do something, if the player chose NOT to move the challenged character, the 'whip attack' would have no actual use of any kind, which makes me conclude that they actually applied the card correctly :) Hope that helps!

The whip is an attack. Anything that says “challenge” is an attack, it’s just abilities that challenge usually either roll more dice or have a special effect such as moving an enemy figure, giving them a status card, etc. When did they move 4 and use an action? Yeah that would be an illegal move unless they had an ability that let them do it.

game doesn't look polished enough, the tokens & Dice are Blah... the jokers fun Box is a Round token, not even picture of a joker like crate, points are crystals you can get from any arts and crafts store, and these pop minis doesnt look like you could use the regular ones, which would have been this things saving grace, because I would rather have access to lots of characters choices, and Only DC, well I like Ironman. ... and they have this in Harry Potter & Rick and Morty to

The Funkoverse fragments (points) were a custom design from Funko Games' in-house industrial engineer. Currently, DC Batman, Harry Potter, Golden Girls, and Rick & Morty are all part of the Funkoverse, but more characters will be coming soon! Thanks for checking out the video.
