Since six months using a likewise meter, really good increase in the monitoring system. Prior to this meter I was confused regarding the output power of my battery bank system, but now satisfied that the set is working properly. Nine readings on this meter are enough to decide status. However there is no sign of flow direction. Also using another meter (PZEM-025) with only four readings, V,A,W and kWh; there is a sign with A and kWh. The shunt is inside the meter but thick wire has to be used with this meter.

A 5 minute video would have been enough to show the wiring set up as that is straight forward. Time should have been spent on showing how to configure the device through its menu system as the instructions are poor in this area.

It tells on the back of the meter how to hook it up. I forgot how to program it. I watched the wrong video waiting for you to get to the programming.

If you so much as momentarily unplug the battery/s you are monitoring, you will have 0 volts, which is less than 8.... Unless you are willing to loose the stored data, the other 2 wires are actually very important. Secure another battery of the correct voltage range to the inputs to act as an external power source and you can disconnect the main battery input and later reconnect it and everything still be as before

6 months I've bought it. I have 2 LiFePo4 batteries and it dosn't work. Isn't it only for lead or AGM batteries ??

I have the meter hooked up like you described. I have no idea what the read outs mean. Can you please make a video that explains what the 9 functions the meter monitors? Eg... I have a 100 mah battery. The battery level icon shows full. The numbers at the top right (mah capacity) reads 4.85 and climbing. How does that number relate to mah capacity? I would think that it would determine the max capacity of the battery. This seems to work great based upon your video, but I have no idea what all the numbers indicate. Do you?

Detailed an informative video. My 300A Shunt read 12v battery pack 0.5 v less than the actual voltage measured by voltmeter . Does which side of the Shunt orientation selected matter ? TIA

Yeah if you dont want a fire in your RV do NOT buy and use these as they are defective by design so much so the electrolytic cap blows out and the main MCU chip gets hot enough to burn the PCB, melt it's own solder and deform the plastic casing. See I was gong to add these to my RV camper as an upgrade from the analog power meter and I am glad I bench tested them first or I would have had a fire and lost my trailer. I ordered 2 of them to do charger in and battery out so I set them up as per the diagrams and the plan was to let them run 24 hours but once power was enabled, both units backlight lit up, and one gave a display that was working, the other one was now dark, no life and started to smell like something burned out so it was removed and the working one was left there. I came back 4 hours later and my shop reeked of burnt electronics and the once working meter was dead and the back was deformed. I opened it up and the MCU was detached from the PCB and had burnt the PCB. SO I was not re buying these and I opted for power meters from the RV service center which costed over $150 for the pair plus all the shunts and sensors but they worked out of the box, passed bench test and are currently in the trailer working perfectly after a year now.

The black should not be on the blue terminal. It’s should be on that side of the shunt, but not on the same connection point.
