Take two on this body buck and although a much better representation…still many details that won’t make this a great figure…but still a good figure with some custom potential…

Red Robin with that Batman looking cowl is my all time favorite Tim drake look. Honestly might consider making a custom of that costume and returning this new robin figure😅😅

Awesome review boss. That extra staff could go with Deathstroke as well, keeping a Titans theme.

I really want to see how the Red Hood unmasked head from the 4 pack looks on this Robin body. That might be the best swap combo

Nope.... It's to big.... Literally man head on a little body... Plus it's not Tim Drake... it's Jason Todd.. I think Dhunter did it.... If I do my own custom version... I'm gonna order a head online... Way better option...👍💀

I ended up using the Tim Drake head from the Gotham Knights figured. Whited out the eyes and toned down the color of the lips.

Definitely agree with you on the scale he’s way to tall and bulky the wing new 52 robin was a great size. Hopefully McFarlane adress the scaling issue because characters sizes all over the place. Still my favorite look for robin may catch it on sale.

Overall I think this a pretty good looking Tim Drake. Love the colors and the sculpting, even though he's way too detailed and McFarlane has made some weird design choices, which has become common with him. I agree that the first Tim Drake head from the red version is much better. I'd prefer the new mask on the old head. McFarlane did make Tim too tall, but he does scale very well with Year Two Batman and Hush Batman, which are also way too tall. Even though he is dated and has very little articulation, I really like the DC Direct Tim Drake Robin. I personally like to mix in some DC Direct figures with my McFarlane collection. The scale is pretty good with a lot of the McFarlane and DC Direct figures.

Ya... DC Direct was mostly 7"... That's why it's weird that people worship Direct and hate McFarlane...🤷‍♂️💀

i ended up getting a tim drake head somebody made, the dawnbreakers legs and im about to paint the green on the arms that same metallic green to match it. i like the slimmer legs although longer

I would have liked him better on the Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, Deadman, Flashpoint Flash buck. The armor plates are fine. I’m not interested in McFarlane’s inaccuracy as of late. But he won’t listen to little me. Repaints are getting too common. The collector line is getting less exciting. Love a tight figure. Looking forward to more improvements and less reuse. I’m sorry. The reuse is why I don’t buy Marvel Legends.

They are always of with some little detail wheatear it's dc multiverse, spawn or any other line they do. I don't get why they do it, maybe it's too many figures that they do, but every figure is off by some little detail.

Honestly...you can say that about all lines... It's always one design decision or another that collectors don't like .. these characters are drawn in many different ways in the comics so you must decide which version to follow...or just use all and make one weird version..😆 sadly this line is also a mass market line and regular people shoping at Wal Mart just see a "cool" Robin figure... it's only collectors that look at every little detail... So I try to not let it bother me too much..🤷‍♂️👍

@@bonesandthenecrozoo Well of course that there's imperfections with every figure that is made. I do own some more expensive figures from other companies and they all have some nit-picks to them. But what's drives me nuts about McFarlane is just those weird decisions about character designs. For example dc infected superman and bizzaro. There's only one panel in the comics where infected superman is that shade of purple, why make the figure inspired by just one panel in the comics? Of course that i switched out upper parts for both figures, but they could just make them like that from the start. Don't get me wrong I am happy that we're getting so many different DC characters and it's not the only line that i collect but i would like for them to think abot designs of figures before they put them out. Like i said maybe they're working on too many stuff at once. Most recent company out there is Jada Toys and SF line, for 25 bucks they surpassed all toy companies out there. Damn I'm ranting! 😁

Just disliking the armor look, would be nice to just get simple spandex looking suits with the creases in clothing. Just got the hush Superman, grew on me in person to be honest but still dislike the reuse of the new 52 bod

Ya.... It's cool to have different Supermen for different occasions.. But we need a new taller buck for sure...👍💀
