Alternate realities and higher planes of existence are just science fiction tropes, right? Today, we're exploring the smallest thing in the universe to the entirety of existence itself to see just where it all falls on The Imaginary Axis! I think some writers have hinted to that. The white void is the edge of the comic panels. But it all depends on the writer, of course. Other writers put the readers on Earth Prime, I think it's called. Which puts the reader inside of the DC universe, rather than beyond it.

In the original version of the DC multiverse our world was Earth 0 or Earth Prime. That's why Superboy Prime is called that, he's superman from the prime universe. But nowadays the main DC comics universe is Earth Prime and our world is just another place in the Multiverse, though it is still stated to be special.

Hello Tyler, a multiverse is fantastic and fun to theorize about and debate, but I don't know if I can believe any of it. I was discussing this with at least 51 of myselves, and neither of us think it's true.

maybe but if you ever be in science class or learn about space and universe you would learn more about Galaxy's and the other's universe's. I just love how this guide ends his videos, always on a High and Epic note. That phrase, "The Greatest Song in Existence", is amazing. It makes you think about what that theoretical song means. Its not "a" song in the existence of anything and everything, is "the" Song of Existence, the melody of everything ever. Its just plain awesome

The 4th wall is the front wall in sitcoms that isn't there so the audience can see what's happening. It's just a figure of speech in movies, basically the portal between 2 universes. Most significantly between Deadpools universe and our own.

actually, youre not too far off, Lucifer Morningstar once went beyond the souce wall and exited the multiverse and he flew into a empty white void, he then reappeared on Earth after a crisis event and said that he passed between multiverses, so they are more like islands drifting in the void

M-Theory (at least either theoretically or in The Context of the DC Multiverse) Some Alternate Realities are composed of 3-Dimensional Membranes or Branes, there are infinite 3-D Branes tied to a 4-D Brane, The 4D brain is tied to A 5D Brane, and so on and so forth at least until you get to the Ninth Dimensional Brane. Is that what you’re getting to more or less.

After the Source Wall comes the Omniverse which is the home of the multiverses where everything is meaning that after the Source Wall comes another set of multiverses with their own rules and characters.There is only one Omniverse though since the Omniverse is the home of multiverses it means that in it exists every single fictional and nonfictional real imaginable so we reside in the omniverse alongside the DC multiverse,Marvel Multiverse and every single other multiverse that will ever exists.

That's not true so in the multiverse theory the universes are made of either different particles cause from a different mix of materials or that it's a universe made off of a different choice such as there could be a universe where instead of writing this comment I could turn out from my computer and go outside. But then this means that there can be paradoxes I'll explain that later but this also means that there are are universes In the past present and future so you would creates either a temporal paradox or what I what the call a universal paradox they are both pretty much the same thing except for that a temporal paradox means that if you travel to a dimension in the future you would create a temporal paradox but you would also create an universal paradox where you know what could happen in another universe in both cases you are "pooffed" out of existence there we go I am done

Not connected to the multiverse. By definition, any universe connected to the multiverse would have to have the multiverse exist, and have physical rules that have stopped it from destroying itself. Anything else is optional for any given universe.Also, if there's a multiverse, and a universe not connected to the multiverse, then there has to be a higher level of verse that both that universe and the multiverse are connected to.

@@punkrider8758 Every franchise has their own multiverse. Every multiverse exists inside an omniverse. Marvel's multiverse and DC's already crossed. So these Multiverses are "islands" near each other. Sometimes characters find ways to cross, other they colide.

Awesome breakdown Tyler! I remember seeing that multi-versal "map" when it first showed up, but wasn't exactly easy to decipher. Allow me to ask, when talking about the giant...thing, pulling everything in the universe towards it, my first thought went to a concept called The Great Attractor...I didn't recognize the name the Dark Flow. Do you know if that's two names for the same idea, two sides of the same coin?

Your work is amazing Tyler, great job. It is fantastic to see the merging of Superstring theory and quantum physics concepts with comics. As well as this, you just have that ability to make it interesting. 168k may be how many subscribers you have, but I think that number will go up very fast from here. I've been watching from 5 or 10k subscribers, and you're content has just gotten better and better. Great job!

+The Imaginary Axis I know what's behind the source wall :) A sea of nothingness that has other multiverses including but not limited to, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, DragonBall, Final Fantasy, Shin Megami Tensei, Marvel, Pokemon, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Alien and Predator, Infamous, Blazeblue, Bleach, Lego, Soul Eater, our own universe and it's multiverse and anything else we've ever considered posible and impossible by the laws of physics and then some. All that exists beyond the source wall is an endless sea of possibility amd my ultimate goal in life is to one day be free to travel that ocean as unlikely and insane as that sounds but hey the odds are for some version of me getting there some day as unlikely as it will ever be me hopefully so other version of myself is kind enough to help out those with a similar dream. Yeah it's a pretty meta way of thinking but I see it as infinite existence has to come out of infinite nothingness the only question is how many layers of existence exist between us and it.

@@dwightwatae3997 that universe would be in a self-contained multiverse that's just itself. Next door would be a multiverse with two universes in it (a duoverse, if you will.) Then a multiverse with 3 universes in it, a triverse or whatever. So to dodge that paradox, the levels of analysis don't jump straight from universe to omniverse, but rather uni *through* multi to omni.

That gives me an idea for a story I would write if I was an author. Gods would be higher-dimensional beings essentially the same as any other living being, but so much more complicated, and able to be in more than one place in a 3-dimensional universe at once, because of their shape. And they could create stuff by "singing" the vibrations of the strings.Any authors that want to use the idea, go ahead.

Hiera Wonka The Presence is the highest entity in the DC Multiverse, responsible for creating everything that was, that is and that ever will be in all of the DC Multiverse. Furthermore, he appears in five forms, which are: The Voice, The Hand, The Source, The Word and I don't remember the 5th iteration but it might be The Presence himself. Many people claim that the Over-Monitor is more powerful than The Presence which is absolutely true but they tend to forget that he is not an entity but simply the blank canvas which the writers use, therefore it doesn't count as a being.

This video...was freaking fascinating. I think the bread analogy was the best way of explaining the multiverse. (Side note, if you know what vector spaces are in advanced mathematics that helps too...but not many people go that high in math because they're not a masochist like I am).
