wow you do some great upgrades to your loco's. the step lights have to be my favorite add on you do. you might want to get some roller trucks. strike force hobbies sells them

Impressive! I am working on an SD75 right now. This procedure should work with a SoundTraxx Econami board the same correct? I noticed no resistors for the LED's?

Don’t you need to wire the leds with additional LEDs? The EE in me says not to wire LEDs in parallel with a resistor
