Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

Oh my goodness. Love Klein! That David Lee Roth move was insane. Loved it! Really fun and unexpected! I still am hoping that one day you will have Derek Hough as a choreographer. He is amazing and has such fun energy.

@28:56 Criscilla Anderson who is married to country singer Caffey Anderson was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in 2018. After years of treatment. In the fall of 2021 she finally got the news that she was in remission.

Love when the hip-hop choreographers come on the show. I wanna see more choreographers come. I want DCC to get ppl like John Silver and Bryan Tanaka and Tanisha Scott. That's the choreographers these girls should be impressing. They are the ones that do the world tours and the music videos and award shows. I'm not taking anything away from Keith Green and Charm La Donna and the rest. They are just as great and are highly regarded in the industry.

@@desireesmith8816 I would love to see Tanisha Scott come on the show. Her dance style is very unique because she incorporates the use of Jamaican dancehall moves into her routines. It would be interesting to see how DCC responds to her style of dance. Dancehall would be very foreign to them.

I love Tyce Diiorio he’s a dream choreographer/teacher. His style his critiques, he’s amazing I love him and I wish they’d show the full clip/dance not just with him but all the choreographers because they’re all amazing and I wanna see the full finished product. I’m from NY so I don’t think I’ll ever go to a cowboys game but I love these girls and this squad

Okay that last part definitely made me cry. I think the only thing that REALLY BUGS me about being a professional cheerleader is the fact that with ALL the Hard Work, Time and Dedication that is put into not just BECOMING one, but BEING one, they are only paid $15 per GAME. Posing for posters and calendars is VOLUNTARY WORK. Well the pay might have increased since I was in my twenties (1980) however, considering all they do and are expected to do, it should be much, much more! They represent the team almost More than the Team itself.

They make 12 an hour and 400 for every game appearance

Today it can range from 15 to 20$ per hour with between 4 & 700 per game, with there being 10 home games including 2 pre-season ones, and they have to show up between 3 to 5 hours ahead of time to practice which they also get paid for. If their team makes it to the Playoffs it can be up to 1,500 and 2,500 for the Super Bowl. Most of these women either attend college or have another job.

Seeing the current season on this video reminds me why Lea is my favorite rookie. I still don’t understand why she was ever below top 36 on the board. She is a fantastic dancer and absolutely adorable!

Ava is such a great dancer, but I agree with Kelly and Judy that she just needed an extra year to add maturity to her conduct. If/when she comes back next year, she's going to be a standout.

While I understand it's a part of the show that is the DCC, I'd be very interested in seeing the girls with their hair completely tied back/up and without the hairography just once Right now, I focus on the hair most of the time and the girls who really stand out for me are the ones I forget about the hair. Again, I know that's a signature thing with the DCC but being able to bring it just as fiercely without the hair would be amazing.

I hear you but the point of DCC is so that the majority of the time people are watching the football game it’s all men out there and the cheerleaders are female to change up the chemistry and bring a strong feminine power onto the field. That’s just my take on it . It’s a good balance. And I love Evan he’s incredible I could watch him all day long.

Ava is beautiful, talented and she has the look and personality to be an outstanding DCC! HOWEVER, No company or organization is going to take a costly, if not company ending, risk on someone who can’t control their mouth and or actions. It is extremely expensive to clean up social media nightmares!! Ava is not a football player who can bring the organization millions of dollars but she has the capability to cause the organization to lose millions. Kelli and Judy made the right decision. Hopefully, Ava will mature and try out again. If not, hopefully she will find something else to do that just might be a better fit for her and bring her more happiness and hopefully more money while she continues to do what she loves!!!

This was wonderful! Very good. I will be watching this again! So inspiring. Is it just me or is Kelli STILL getting prettier and prettier? And KayDianna was much prettier with her original hair, before the curls. I love that girl!

“Hip hop” was a stretch, pretty sure the dancing was set to pop music for the exception of maybe 2 songs. At least the songs that were playing when airing the episodes. As much as this style of dancing would appeal to more of todays viewers, it’s not what DCC does for games, so why judge them on it?
