Been 2+ years since i last tuned in/played Destiny. So glad this is still running; you all do a great job creating such a fun, friendly atmosphere

I recall a time of Destiny 2 PvP population explosion and continuous engagement : when the famous (or infamous depending on who you talked to) pinnacle weapons you could obtain: Recluse Revoker, Mountaintop, Not Forgotten, Redrix's Claymore/Broadsword, Luna's Howl. These pinnacle weapons were the epitome of "pinnacle" and many were willing to bust their asses to get them. Problem was, at the same time, it caused a rich-get-richer power creep among the player base and there were constant outcries of disdain towards these weapons dominating PvP (and PvE). Mountaintop, remember that one? I dare say that was the most hated weapon (in PvP) in Destiny history. Bungie tried again to reward pinnacles that weren't so oppressive but these weapons weren't as enticing. Though I thought Randy's Throwing Knife was pretty neat. I've said it before: I don't envy the ones who have the job to make PvP compelling and balanced. That said, SOME improvement on the consistency of providing SOME content for that side of the game is really needed. Well, that's an armchair perspective, anyway. Don't know the ins and outs of how difficult and time consuming that task may be.

my theory on telester: bungie has a permanent fix for all the issues that's been plaging the weapon (i.e. they've re-written the foundation of it), but want to have it go out with a bang. they've made it "sentient" now, and has it acting super weird in the game, so that they eventually can release the fix for it, and say that "ok we've tamed the beast once and for all".

**plot twist** the new game they are working on or story of Destiny is about the world where Telesto is the god. also Nezarec is going to be a season during Lightfall.

Weren't the bullets (at one time) considered to be 'players' from a code perspective? I remember peeps cheesing the "gauntlet' challenge in the Menagerie by shooting the bullets across the finish line?

Always great conversation, Love it! This was a great episode got to sit down and think about my views while listening and I feel so much the same. True vanguard had some great points regarding the seasonal model. To a destiny 2 vet like me whos also very efficient with my grind, the seasonal model is simply getting stale, I've been there and done that for many moons lol. A shake-up is needed to say the least.

shot in the dark here but bingie should start building a new PVP content team each "season" we should get what we currently get plus a full season of pvp content and systems updates from said new team. so that every new season is new for pve and pvp players

In PVP, players are the content. Bungie can’t create new content because YOU are the content. The only thing they can do is improve the incentives to play. Loot. Progression. Maps can only fill a need for 2 weeks. Then it gets old.

As someone who barely plays PvP, Iron Banner was the main time I engaged with Crucible, but since they reworked it I have completely lost any interest in PvP. IB should be once a month at a minimum.

I love Briar! Everyone is a little burnt out and honestly we should all be playing the game like Briar does. If its not fun an too tedious, just NAH.. Bungie / Destiny would get better in two seasons.
