Mr Sananda Maitreya, God has blessed you. I can't help but think about how MJ is gone now, and he wasn't happy. Prince gone too. And ( yay) we've still got you!

Loved TTD I believe the music business is ruthless which I thought was what held you back, having said that MJ was one step ahead because of the people around from a young boy, the same people that brought him down, put that behind you and make the best of what you got now good luck 👏👏

SM aka TTD sings raw with a soulful sound hint of gospel; check out Holding on To You; it's not often that a musician (electric guitar/Black guy with the red outfit) that can keep up with the singer, but they went toe to toe were ever SM/TTD went doing that session the guitarist followed him. The only time I have seen that.

I saw TTD in his first NYC performance at Roseland. No doubt his voice and performance was awesome. But I think his ego got in the way not MJ. He made too many comments of both Prince and MJ, in which he stated he was a better talent. They were the reigning kings and had been for many years before TTD came on the scene. He never had the power in the industry they held.

He never said he was a better talent than them. He said he was better than the Beatles and as a joke as his solo debut album became a classic ipso facto and a huge success. He was acting like Muhammad Ali to attract all the attention. He was so misunderstood. He also said MJ tried ruing his career at Epic and it was obvious as MJ said he had enough with one young black sexy artist (Prince) and the record label didn’t need TTD. He said MJ boycotted his career back then.

He also got completely blacklisted from the UK by Saint, Sir Bob Geldof for having an affair with his wife Paula Yates, a UK TV presenter. Never underestimate the power, influence and clout of Sir Bob and the credit he took for Live Aid, even though it was his wifes idea... Or the international influence of Britain in the music world... Very messy..

@@TheChallenger1000 dumbest comment of the week right here. MJ was a musical composer, he created Billie Jean the melody, lyrics and the production - the demo is here on KZfaq. TTD doesn’t have a song close to that good and you know it.
@TheChallenger1000
@TheChallenger1000 3 ай бұрын
@@truewilliams7118 Another know-nothing KZfaq poster, what a surprise... FYI, D'Arby was an incredible instrumentalist. He played about 10 different instruments LIVE. Michael Jackson was a hobbyist instrumentalist who didn't play live and didn't play any instrument well. D'arby wrote, composed and arranged nearly every song in his entire career. Michael Jackson often had writers for his songs and lots of other composers and arrangers. Michael Jackson is the greatest entertainer of all time, but he was not the most talented musician, not even close. D'Arby and many others were far superior.
