I saw him play this song at the ppac in Providence Rhode Island in 2013. Front row, as soon as the first note was played I knew it was mountain time and I stood up pumping my fists and everybody was sitting down looking at me like I was crazy.

Joe is one of the most fabulous guitarists around and a powerful singer as well Fun fact: He's only 45, and he opened up about a dozen shows for B.B. King when he was TWELVE!

He draws a different crowd with a different mentality. His playing can soothe you to your soul if you take the time to listen, relax and enjoy the totality of his music. He’s not an Eddie Van Halen type of guitarist.Joe is a complete package of a guitarist. He isn’t monotone in his music. He makes the music breathe like it’s alive. Highs, lows, loud, soft, unlike anyone else you have ever heard. Yes he has set himself apart from all others and he is that good.

@Captain Reco….bro you couldn’t have said it any better, through his music, Joe invites people on his musical journey, the highs and the lows, the rough and the soft….what life’s about….this version of Mountain Time and his Carnegie Hall acoustic version….makes me cry in appreciation of this beautiful thing we call LIFE, after recently dealing with several life threatening illnesses, this song reminds how beautiful it is to hear and feel great music like this, I live in southern Montana amidst the beautiful Rocky Mountains…although it’s not “West on 80”…..here it’s west on 90…road to mountain time…. Thanks Joe….you really are the best….

British audiences like to listen to the artistes instead of drowning out the performance, by screaming all the time, they applaud at the end. It's a cultural thing.

It is the same to a large extent in Canada. People want to concentrate on the music and respect the artist. But after all, this _is_ the Royal Alberta Hall and you don't do any rough housing in such an immortal theatre! There were some guys hanging out of one of the side balconies playing their rubber guitars who were really in the spirit nevertheless! 👀😮🎸💖👽🛸

Nobody has reviewed much on Joanne Shaw Taylor yet, well worth a watch! "Can't you see what you're doing to me" featuring Kenny Wayne Shepard is a good choice 👌

Hi the reason why you can hear everything so clearly is because it’s produced for joe and the band ivy carman rojas the bass player who with the likes of Michael Jackson not to mention David Bowie and many others. When jb as he affectionately known he played the borderline in London with only 200 crowd at £5 ahead. Now don’t know. Seen him 9 times and never lets me down. Enjoy following jb.

J&R Adventures is the Official Music management Company and Record Label for JOE BONAMASSA and BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION. He also has another label "KTBA Records (Keeping the Blues Alive)" I have been to several of his shows and yes people actually sit and listen to his music. A number of his solos are very soft and you can almost hear a pin drop in those moments. It is in respect to the musician. For something newer, I would recommend "Evil Mama" or "Redemption"

Been to one show in Hamilton Ontario just before covid .He was outstanding as was his HOF bass player and the horns and the back up singers and Reese Wynans from SRV fame OMG .Outside of The Mighty Zep 'I've seen some big bands Rush Floyd Aerosmith Deep Purple Stones The Who and many other all the way back to Ted Nugent in the eighties Joe wasn't any better but his presentation was incredible .A real musician surrounded by other real musicians and a deep rabbit hole

@@danhill5619 Agreed, saw him 3 times in Ottawa and once at Rama and yes, he really does surround himself with incredible musicians. At Rama we were 3 rows from the front. It was something just to watch the band as much as hear them.

I have been a huge fan of Joe for years, and this is one of my favourite songs by him. Incidentally, around 13 years ago, Chantel McGregor posted her own version of Mountain Time on KZfaq. Its well worth a listen. Her performance at Selby is a good example.

You wanna watch something pull up Joe Bonamassa when he was 12 years old on stage and watch him play Scuddle Buttin and he turns it upside down on his shoulders and absolutely kills it . He's in my top 3 guitarist of all time . And this one is Joe singing at his best !

15 studio albums and counting. Some say, a modern day Stevie Ray Vaughn. Must listens: Blue and Evil, Trouble Town, U Left Me With Nothing But the Blues, U upset Me, Breakin Up Somebodys Home, Angel of Mercy, Redemption........ there are many, many more great songs by this artist. The hole is deep, jump on in. Thanks for the reaction.

Joe B "Django" is good. He performs django/ mountain time as one also but Dave anything he sings or plays is amazing. Nothing is boiler plate with him. Same with Beth Hart ( you found out) why she is not more popular in the USA boggles my mind.

Not everyone is the same height and it is rude to stand while blocking the view of the person behind you. Respect seems odd sometimes when feeling passion but if you love respect, you will do what is what you think is proper.
