DCS A-10C Gun Runs 1 (Beta)

Here are some gun runs with the DCS A-10C beta. The beta is available to prepurchasers of the game. You can pre-purchase from www.digitalcombatsimulator.com. This video is intended to give some basic "gun cam" views of how the gun and rockets are employed in the A-10C.
A few things to note:
- When you see PAC-1 at the bottom, left hand side of the HUD, that's the first stage trigger being depressed. PAC (Precision Attitude Control) is this really neat feature that attempts to keep the plane guided towards the center of the pipper so you can concentrate on firing.
- The PAC comes in handy for rockets as well.

Nice aiming! I've been practicing with the GAU-8 from long distance as well, it's fun to pick off a target 2nmi away!

@kingneptune117 this is alittle late but your actually wrong. The a-10 during attacks will push the nose down hard. Once a 3-4 second burst the warthog will pull up hard and turn out and do a couple of rolls and turns then head back on the other side of the target and do that same thing.

Was wondering if one of you guys in the DCS World community could do a video of long range gun usage and long range rocket usage, just to show everyone there is no need to get too close with these shots. I was under the impression that rockets can and should be fired from long range and are quite accurate. Firing them, using the arc trajectory to "Lob" Rockets on the target. I'd really appreciate it... and anyone using the 14000ft reticule. Noticed there wasn't any training materials regarding a long bomb shot. thanks. Pinburst

@kingneptune117 I wanted to show off the impact and riochet effects. But yeah, it's pretty unhealthy to fly over. Especially in this case where you can fly into your own riochets!

@ExcessiveHeadspace Do you know of any good tutorials out there that would explain to a beginner step by step how to do a extremely simple mission, like how to start up, take off, locate the target, kill it with the cannon, and return to base??? A very simple tutorial like that would be IMMENSELY helpful. Thanks!
