I'd just like to say thanks for making these videos, they were a tremendous help to me and I still come back here from time to time to learn a thing a two that I may of missed. I've been playing A-10c since release, sticking strictly to sim mode the way I do, would have taken me MUCH longer to learn without these.

Excellent. Never made the connection that when strafing a column-obviously want to turn PAC off. Also--insight into DTS (source) of altitude data being important--lots of gems in this one. Nice flying. BBQ

@M0n1m1 It's called DCS A-10C Warthog. It's a miltary grade flight simulator of the A-10C, although it does have the somewhat easier Game Modes which simplify much of the avionics and flight systems. If you are a flight sim fan, its a MUST get, however it does have a VERY steep learning curve and can be expensive if you lack a good flight joystick, I would highly recommend getting TrackIR for this game. But if you're after realism, you couldnt get better than this.

@smeghead666 It never ceases to amaze me just how much thought and effort goes into the design of these planes. It also never ceases to amaze me that random KZfaqr's know this shit lol. I swear I've learned more on YT comments than in all my years in Highschool.

Just another Flt Sim fan trying to help: goto the DCS Website, head over to downloads/patches (assuming you've registered) and you can download the series of patches relative to your game version. Realize you have to do all related patches in sequence! Lookup digitalcombatsimulator as a start point via google/etc

I am 99.9% sure he uses the Thrustmasters Warthog stick and throttle. It is a $500 joystick thats is modeled almost exactly as the real life a-10 stick and throttle

@crazymaze850 press ctrl-c to activate mouse cockpit view and use the mouse wheel to zoom in. If you're taking about the targeting pod, "on the MFCD where it says TGP, click on that to make it center of interest then use HOME and END to zoom in, press V to switch a greater magnification, "there are two modes" pressing V again returns you to previous magnification
