DCS World F-16 bfm guns dogfight

So I am trying to learn how to fly the F-16 and wanted to see how fast and high I could get to. And ended up in a guns dogfight.. Of course, the best place to experiement is on the venerable growling sidewinder server. Loaded up with 3 Tanks 4 AIM 120s I hit mach 1.6-1.8 and then decided to get into a BFM dogfight on the deck. The only problem is, I unloaded all my 20MM Cannon ammo before taking off. Luck F-18 hornet.

is it skill or me covering for my stupidity.. lesson is.. make sure you have at least 100 rounds of ammo.

Interesting video and nice kill! Is there any specific reason you use the 120B instead of the 120C?

Good observation 👍😋Tried to see if there was a range / maneuvering difference. I think i loaded two of each.

@@plazma1945 Heard that the 120C is the preferred missile in terms of range due to the finns being much smaller than the 120B. However, the 120B should be more maneuverable and thus be more beneficial in close range combat. What do you think of this?

Once ran out of fuel 80km from Tblisi... Made it back eventually. What's your longest deadstick been?

I think about 110,km i remember because i had to climb flanker to 35,000 feet to glide back. It glides 1km altitude for every 10km horizontal... So thats 3000 feet vertical for 5 nautical miles or so.
