Full flight guide for solo flying on growling sidewinder PVP server. Some of the offensive and defensive fox 3 tactics for a viper. Also a dogfight and Mirage 2000 and Fox-1 missile evasion.
RE Merge vs Mirage: The dog fight versus the M2k in the F-16 is not easy to because the mirage can fly sooo slowly. Also running away from two 530 missiles which are dangerous fox one threats even for a viper.

Holy cow this is the best PvP GS video I've ever seen. The breakdowns from multiple angles paired with tacview gives such a broad look of these engagements. I've never seen anything like this. Criminally underrated content.

Плазма, привет! отличные видео! Если ты выберешь HSD как Soi и на нём захватишь цель, которая передаётся даталинком, то ты будешь видеть её в нашлемку (но HSD должен быть в режиме Link16). Можно планировать скрытые атаки 9-ками (FCR в овердрайве) или не терять из вида перехватываемые цели при срыве STT). UPD: ну или удобно так отмечать своего бадди, чтобы не терять его из виду при работе в паре)))

9:41, a mere 402 kts at 13,000 ft. VERY LOW energy state and you bled it way down to 200 kts. Were you pulling the power as not to "overshoot" the mountain peak thus, putting you out front? If you kept the blower going you would have merged at a fantastic 600kts but then it would have been a head on merge. Am I reading your strategy correctly? Secondly, 195kts at 9000ft one circle with a Mirage? 1 circle 2 circle 3 circle 10 circle... 195 kts with a Mirage in any flavour of circle... yet you survived. Can you tell us WHY and HOW you survived? Give us a brief de-brief. Why was the Mirage so slow? What do you think he was thinking?

at the 402 knots mark, I think what I was trying to do was make that left turn while slowing down to ensure that I would not blackout that was the big concern. It was a low fast turn above the mountain so I was probably at the time.. Was... just worried about hitting Terrain During the turn fight, I really was just trying to get in a position where I could remain visually engaged and have tally on the hostile, it was a free-for-all no plans, was going by feel. Heart was pounding, each dogfight, this one more so, its a mirage.. Very high risk of death. Couple of concerns, one was I was already low energy state after all those sharp turns and two the canyon did not allow for the ability to really extend or to make a larger radius Circle. In addition I wanted to stay in the canyon to make sure that any other enemy aircraft or a awacs that work operational in the area would not see me. I wasn't aware that he fired both Fox ones on me cuz that first Fox 1 he fired the second one I never heard the interruption so I was under the assumption that it was he still had more Fox 1s. so it was just a survival scramble there was no much strategy trying to maintain nose authority,,to some extent building up just enough energy to maintain the turns waiting for him to make a mistake and I think his mistake was going vertical... everything else was fantastic when he originally made the right turn and did a loop while I flew by I think because he lost me I've got lucky there also I got lucky when the fox two flew by my face and it gets flashed that's kind of my thoughts about the debrief.
