4 жыл бұрынBLACK LIGHTNING JOINS THE ARROWVERSE IN THE THIRD CHAPTER OF THE CROSSOVER - Pariah (Tom Cavanagh) enlists Black Lightning (guest star Cress Williams) to help stop the Anti-Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) after Flash-90 (guest star John Wesley Shipp) shares what he learned from his battle in ‘Elseworlds.’ With the help of Black Lightning, Barry (Grant Gustin), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) come up with a plan that could save them all. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) has a heart-to-heart with Ryan Choi (guest star Osric Chau), while Oliver (guest star Stephen Amell) and Diggle (guest star David Ramsey) return to an old familiar stomping ground. David McWhirter directed the episode with story by Eric Wallace and teleplay by Lauren Certo & Sterling Gates (#609). Original airdate 12/10/2019. I wonder if Jen will have a larger role to play in Crisis. if you notice, the Anti-matter wave did not affect her when it touched her. so that means she is still alive. which has never happened so far on CW with any other character.

Jennifer Pierce creating her own universe within her mind due to the Anti-Matter Wave Energy was a spider-web of dynamic proportions. The internal conflict she goes through in this episode is just insane. In a way she was a generator but at the same time was preventing the Anti-Matter wave from hitting freeland but Jennifer couldn't control the Earth 1 Jenn and Earth 2 Jinn leading to the Anti-Matter wave to hit Freeland fast by wiping everyone out quickly. In a way Jennifer Pierce was an extension of the Anti-Matter Wave. Eventually her turning into energy was going to happen as she was losing control not being able to make herself whole.

@@Death_Korps_Officer there are 2 Arrow episodes after crisis, the next episode is the backdoor pilot for the green arrow and the canaries TV show, and then the series finale. Oliver isn't meant to appear at all in the next episode if arrow, not sure if he will appear in the finale but I'm sure he will in some way

People are sleeping on Black Lightning like seriously. This episode wasn't even officially apart of crisis and was more like a bridge. But it had what crisis was missing which was the dark element that makes the show interesting. I mean Kevin Conroy dark element was pretty fire but he was killed off too soon imo.

Kevin Conroy was never supposed to be the center point of the crossover, it’s cool to see cameos but the story and the emotional turmoil on the characters is the main payout not the cameos and seeing Conroy fighting in it.

Dude, i feel you on the utter heartache. I've not cried like this since End Games, I didnt see this coming at all. Me and my friends thought at least the Monitor would save the major part of the family. I cried so hard for them. I do have hope that both Oliver and Jen will come back to us somehow. Gotta be like Kara and Kate, Hope and Courage. Oh and someone needs to tell the Monitor that the Paragon of Truth is Black Lighting and John Diggle over Superman anyday.

If you've seen 'Young Justice' season 3, Black lightning is fantastic in it. He genuinely has so much to offer the team. Since we don't have a justice league yet in TV land, these team ups are the best.

And the Legends just don't have any boundaries as far as plot devices go, they could throw in anything from Aladdin's genie to Santa Claus. Then add full access to time travel and none of Barry's restraint about using it. In their reality they could just transport everyone into the past and spend a few years having drinks and making plans.

Jinn from Earth-2 reminds me of Earth-2 Laurel. Both of them were tired of being hurt and they turned evil because they were simply misguided and didn't know which direction to go in.

Only difference is, E-2 Quentin's death was the catalyst for E-2 Laurel going down the dark path. Jinn went down the dark path long before she killed her parents.

Despite being extremely colourful, fun and not ashamed of comic roots. It maintains a grounded realism throughout that helps make it much more enjoyable to me than all other superhero shows.

@@ultimateblaze23 Actually, that's one reason why I prefer the Marvel Netflix series. They were my basis for comparison going into the CW lineup. And I know they weren't all great, but for the most part they were far, far more grounded and believable than the DC shows. If you're looking for realism in superhero TV, I'd say that Daredevil's roster is pretty much the gold standard.

Am I the only one who is shook by lightning speech. I was craving for Lightning character developpement never saw that episode coming and I'm really glad it happened. Her speech is so inspiring speaking about how her dad morale are what makes him human and how you should accept your power as they were given to you to do something good and that normality doesn't exist such beautiful message it made her almost wiser than her dad. Definitly one of the best speeches of any CW show !

Omg. Jennifer could be the key to defeating the Anti-Monitor. She's the only person to react like this to the wave, and she's already more powerful than most people in the arrowverse. This could've been a test. To prove to her that she's a Hero. That was probably her getting transported to Earth one. Or possibly one of the Monitors.

if you have too much power, you tend to abuse it and i don't like ppl like that. jennifer with the suit was right when she said there's no such thing as normal. the other jenn with the collar around her neck is also my favorite. she just seems like she tries to keep balance. evil jenn called the other jenn glinda the good witch from the wiz 😂 i love that movie.

@@RDGR8 The CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS comic book came out way before INFINITY WAR and the crossover and this episode is basically just following what happened in the CRISIS maxiseries. This was before INFINITY WAR.

Well the way a crisis happens is some worlds are gone for good, new ones are formed, and some old ones merge so chances are he ends up with everyone else on whatever earth they call it (since it might not be named earth-1 anymore) Only ones probably gone were Gen & Jinn

Mr.Wolfchamp 1999 the only conclusion I came to is that she was once against powers and now she’s basically advertising it That is indeed what happened, she was against her abilities and now she’s a hero. I didn’t say it happened overnight so maybe u need to take it back and do your research before u jump to conclusions
