the fight scenes alone in his suicide squad where superior of what we had with the first one by david ayer, i know its the butchered version of the studio but essential things like fight scenes are still intact so for that reason plus what JG did was peacemaker was outstanding , i am 100% sure now that he is in full control he will deliver the big stuff DC is known for , FUCK Marvel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they're probably going to go very traditional for DCU batman and his rogues gallery if I had to say. Matt Reeves is doing his own versions, as is common with directors making standalone batman movies, and so the DCU would be a good place to just get a more straightforward adaptation probably.

I’m hoping his Mom makes the suit even if it’s suspension of disbelief. Then near the end he gets it repaired at the fortress giving it a tighter suit with less extra new 52 lines. It won’t happen, but yes lol

I've always liked the idea of Brainiac being a Kryptonian AI that becomes corrupt... maybe Jor-El has put the programme in Kal's ship with the intention of tutoring/mentoring him as he grows on Earth. The computer in the Fortress of Solitude and you can build up his storyline over several films until he's revealed as a big-bad!

I think James Gunn's Superman suit reveal is leaning more on the "artistic side" on Superman this character, not a pure advertisment/neutral disaplay of the suit itself and tone. Unfortunately everyone have different opinion about the character, especially previous movie doesn't really interpret comic Superman very well, and ofc there still some people reject the idea of reboot DCU.

To me, in the suit reveal photo, Clark doesn't have this, "ah shit, I got to go save people" look on his face. I think he looks pissed. As in, I'm about to go wreck shit, pissed. About to put a stop to whatever is going on outside. For all we know this could be after a somewhat of a loss in battle. And now he's going in with the knowing he might not come back but is ready to go anyway. It just looks to me like he's in the process of suiting up to go fight, and his facial expression says, "I'm ready. And I'm going to destroy this thing." That's what I see, at least.

I just hope we get a Batman that doesnt feel out of place in the Justice League and feels like he can hold his own in a fantastical universe. Obviously Reeves and Nolans versions were/are more grounded, which I love, but you could never see them involved in a fight against Darkseid for example. Theyd last about 2 seconds. So we need a Batman with the best tech imaginable. Afflecks Batman was the closest so far in that sense.

Reeves Batman had some advanced tech tho. I don’t really understand when people say they cant imagine that version linking up with the justice league/fighting fantastical villains. Like he’s not really any different than all the comic book versions of Batman that have their own stories and then end up fighting alongside the league in a team up.

Ok, hear me out. Everyone forgets Lex's color scheme is green and purple. I think lex, by machinations of his own design, is fighting this threat because Clark got his ass handed to him. This would have been set up by lex but now the threat has double crossed him and clarknneeds to save lex, and the world from Mongol.

One thing I really hope we got out this presumed bat family is the feel of the right ages for all characters. This of course includes an age appropriate Robin, but also Batman shouldn’t feel like he’s 50. Even if Dick is now Nightwing, Batman should be about 35 at most.

Gunn said a while back when someone asked whether we'd see a condensed origin similar to All-Star Superman that in his opinion "we've seen enough of Superman's origin." So i wouldn't be surprised if there is nothing at all. Wouldn't be surprised if we see a few framed Daily Planet issues on a wall or something with some easter eggs about his earlier years. Seems like an easy way to establish a few villains he's met before.

That Kotor music in the intro really made me nostalgic. It was definitely my favourite setting in the game because of the whole kolto being too valuable to both sides and thereby granting them safety in remaining nuetral. Speaking of which though I really hope that the stuff like the politics of DC universe get properly fleshed out because I personally find it really interesting when superheroes have to deal with stuff that isn't a physical threat. It's also something that's extremely integral to Green Arrow(one of Gunn's favourites) so I do think its very possible that we see that side of the DC universe as well

My excuse for Superman “taking his time…” if this is a freeze frame moment of the film, think about how fast that beam is moving behind him? I definitely think the beam moving faster than a speeding bullet, so Superman is moving at least that fast in this shot.

Honestly he could just have a face before heading into battle because he's not sure if he'll win or if he can save everyone what you said about what Brandon Routh said is part of it because if you can hear everything you would basically hear crimes happening and screams and suffering from people and when you have abilities that have a chance on helping not just one but multiple people you can't ignore it especially if you can hear it around the world almost sounding like it's happening everyday and that picture could be Superman getting ready worried about citizens, Lois, and the fact that will they accept him as an Alien or will they be scared of him after saving them

little nitpick that i have about Lanterns. I'm not against them adapting the story of Earth One but i really wish they'd use more traditional designs. I never liked bearded Hal Jordan and all those uniforms are hardly unique and fairly overdesigned. Green Lantern's costume is simple, sleek and doesn't need many embellishments. It can easily be done with a practical suit but if they also wanna use some CG effects for the bits that light up, so be it. The GL suit is also one of those where they can just pop it out at any time and use whenever necessary.

I think the main issue people are latching onto with the suit is that it doesn’t look like it can fit under his clothes. However, I think this can be addressed by just equipping him with a nice briefcase that he’ll regularly use for his work at the Planet. He can’t quite open his shirt to reveal the suit like the iconic imagery, but he can run to a phone booth or maybe Gunn will use a funny bathroom scene where he changes over and you see a confused guy in the stall next to him like “what tf was all that racket?” IF he gets a new suit, it’ll be the same suit, just compressed to fit under his daily clothes. The problem I have with these new suit theories is that… the two pictures show the same suit, down to the small details. Look at the lines around his collar bone and shoulder area on the official reveal; now look at the top right corner of the logo reveal suit. The lines are the same. If one is a second suit, literally nothing changed in the design. I disagree that if he gets a second suit, it’ll look exactly like the first one. Just makes no sense.

A lot of people fear the movie after the photo because Superman putting on his boots while all that is going on makes nose sense since he always changes quickly. Looks like that meme when he's finishing up with a one night stand. Just sitting there, putting boots on with chaos is not Superman. Those aren't my words but I do agree.

I think Batman: The Brave and the Bold, being a semi-adaptation of Grant Morrison's run ( If I'm not mistaken, it's the "Batman and Robin" series with Dick Grayson Batman and Damian Wayne Robin), is going to be one giant buildup to the Bruce Wayne Batman reveal when he comes back from the dead or whatever

my guess is that in the craft Kal-el was sent in there, was an AI device that not only taught him his Kryptonian heritage but helped him build the fortress and the devices in it. Along with the suit. I suppose it could appear to him as Jor-el. I'd rather it be like a robot pal like Bruce has Alfred ,Stark has Jarvis, Kal has his AI assistant that monitors things from the Fortress, acting like an Oracle to Batman, but guarding the Fortress, monitoring world communications for trouble, accessing any database it needs to etc. And Brainiac could be a threat to it and the world.

If they do decide to do a montage at the beginning of the film, they should do so from the perspective of Clark, jumping forward in time everytime he blinks. First barreling towards Earth in his spacepod. Then being found by Pa/ Ma Kent. Next, he's in a highchair. Cut five to ten years with an accidental demonstration of his power. Then, he's a teenager, performing low-stake heroic acts. Next, he's running late for his graduation ceremony-- so he decides to fly there (under the radar). Then, he's shaking hands with his interviewer at the Daily Planet. Next, we get three to five blink, and you'll miss it clips of him busting criminals, finally leading up to him rushing in, and subduing some lesser villain at breakneck speed in present-day. Then, the camera pans out-- and we get our first real look at him.
