I’d imagine Bruce will be younger. I’m not a Snyder head or anything but Henry lost his spot due to age. If bats is the same age as Cavil or close to it then I’m confused. I down with a younger Superman to hopefully see more of his first encounters with some of the known villains and I would like that for Batman as well but if he’s 40 I just feel like it limits the number of stories and gives a feeling of disappointment that I won’t see Batman in his prime for long. Still excited either way just a little worried with throwing in the entire bat family and starting with Damion and not Dick as the first on screen Robin.

The first big event in dc comics after crisis on infinite earths rebooted the continuity was zero hour in which parallax hal was the big bad. Maybe they're giving us an adaptation of that

Hmm. The Bruce age thing is difficult, but I would definitely say no younger than 36 (super easy to make necrssary adjustments to the Robin timeline, for example Dick becomes Robin at 13 instead of 8, Jason takes over at 13 dies at 15, Tim comes in roughly six months later and we can still have a 10-12 year old Damian become Robin). Though my personal estimate is between the ages of 38-42. Not sure I would want it much higher though, mainly for the health of the actor.

With the Parallax idea, I like how they'll deal with it if it's actually true. Knowing that Hal could be a veteran hero here, it's not also a stretch to see him consumed by Parallax and become one like what happens in Emerald Twilight and making Parallax erased the existence of Coast City and now, Jon along with the other heroes have to bond together to fight against an enraged Hal Jordan whom Parallax consumed and took over. I'm just saying, it is a possibility and with Hal being possibly a Lantern for about 10 years at the very least, it will be dope to make him the one they'll be fighting against and Jon will be the one to step in to carry the Oath of the Lanterns and stop his friend and partner. Some of you can throw in some ideas but I think it'll be a dope concept to have this.

In the movie,when batman talks with the riddler in arkham,at one point(2h18m-19m),right before edward gets up,batman's face with the mask looks like an owl,as targeted by the camera in that perticular angle.

Remember how in the first episode of True Detective the murder scene seemed to be something to do with the occult or satanism? I wouldn't be surprised if Lanterns starts the same way. Only this time, maybe it appears to be ancient alien tech or something, and instead of it just being a human being evil, it turns out to be real. Like Stargate meets Event Horizon stuff. Seems like a good springboard for a DCU story.

I have a friend who is 35 with a 16 year old son. This idea that Batman has to be old to have a son is stupid. You could easily say that Bruce met Tahlia when he was 19 and had just begun his training at the League of Assassins. They had a secret romance and when Ra's found out about it he took Tahlia and hid her away so that she wouldn't be with Bruce. Years later we find out that she was pregnant when she was taken away and Ra's made sure that Bruce never found out.

I think it makes sense to have Parallax come this early, so they can introduce Kyle Rayner sooner rather than later. Also, having an older actor could work in favour of that classic 90s look for him, with the grey hair at the temples. My only concern is that whoever they choose could be too old by the time they get around doing the REALLY cool stuff like Blackest Night. I still think Glen Powell is the best choice. He's a few years younger than what they're looking for, but not so much that he looks in his late 20s. They can make him look older or younger depending on the need.

Lombardy is always a jerk comics, tv, I'd say the movies too, but I don't think he's been the movies before. I'm not holding my breath for Lanterns, if I did I would have passed out by now, how long again were they supposed to have had this show out ? 5 years now? If we're talking an ancient evils maybe use The New Frontier creature that's in that story.

Bruce being in his 40s makes the most sense and the DCAU Batman was about 10 years older than DCAU Superman so it can work

I know all about Wisdom Teeth, get it taken care as soon as you can, don't want it to get impacted Bob. And unless you don't have any other choice don't get it pulled that should be a last option.

If you're having wisdom tooth pain my only advice is to get into the Dentist as soon as you can I had mine removed just 4 weeks ago and I'd been putting it off because of my fear of the Dentist and it got so bad I could hardly open my jaw, the weird thing is I'm 27 and it grew in when I was a teenager and never had problems I take great care of my teeth but somehow it still caused issues and it was the worst

For the DCU, I would love it if they take full inspiration on Kevin Conroy's Batman/Bruce Wayne. From both the DCAU & Arkham Series, where he is both Ethan Hunt & Sherlock Holmes mixed together. For the cast: imo I think Brandon Sklenar would be a perfect cast choice for this character. Of course he doesn't have that Batman jaw like Robert Pattinson, but after seeing his excellent performance in 1923. I can one million% see him as DCU Bruce Wayne & Batman🦇

Superman and Green Lantern being one of the big leading protagonists for the new DCU is really cool and interesting especially for the cosmic side of the DCU and the casting by age thing is interesting bc I would mind see Batman at the age of 32 or 33 and I don’t mind the Hal Jordan and John age castings bc this is a buddy cop dynamic which I’m so excited for and I’m hyped for more interesting DCU updates.
