I never played DDO and this is my first guide and I'm already loving it because as you said, you take bad class and you try to brute force your way with it with skill.

Thanks for this interesting video. From about 1:30, you were trying to get some (xp and ) wearings in saltmarsh. And it gave me some idea, because, to be honnest, khortos and saltmarsh are ... poor in loot and rewards. But, why would you not try to gain XP (and gears) making the borderlands arc (even in low level stage, especially with a character having open locks skill, as soon as they are hidden / locked chests in almost all quests? At the end of the day, you may get many named items with augment slots, and you would event may to craft your own silver / etheral weapon if you want. More interesting: just travelling from the city to the quest place may grant you up to two different rare encounters (at the farm and at the apiary) whose may give you a way to get a mount if you have not. Of course, those gears will not be "the final ones" you'll keep for the whole leveling. But, they can make the tricks before you get better ;-)

Whatever you do, do NOT take the L01 Sorceror hireling. He's a Grease happy fool. You'll falling down everywhere. He doesn't even list Grease as one of the spells that he comes with in the description.

Where does the racial AP tome that your character started with come from? I presume every character you make starts with one, like the Universal AP tome you get from the sharn pack? Nevermind, I see that it came with the Mists of Ravenloft bundle. Curses. Another thing (along with the bottle of mists) I really wish they would still give us the option to buy!

Do you have any up-to-date Wizard builds? Better yet, do you plan on doing any updated Wizard guide/build videos?

i have found that low level cannith crafted gear help quite a bit on elite

Yours came just in time :D EDIT: For the good Dark Hunter Melee Trapper, do you not use Weapon Finesse for the Dex Bonus to Hit? Seems weird to me to build a melee dex fighter and not take weapon finesse, or am i missing smth?

On the korthos quest protecting the crystal, ive noticed if the hire is on attack, you fail more then if he's on defense, idk why

Rogue is an intelligence character. Why not just run the old wizard with two levels rogue? Take insightful reflexes, might as well go warforged for self heals.
