-Dual level fiducial calibration
-Using Issues & Solutions to guide and do much of the setup
Note: I&S includes more capabilities than I used here.

I acknowledge and agree with your points. It's clear that Issues and Solutions (I&S) does address these functions. However, my uncertainty had been increasing because many operations are not consistently repeatable in the hardware, which creates uncertainty about the causes of these issues. I&S could be a challenging concept for newcomers to fully trust. The level of integration and automation varies significantly from one issue to another. While some aspects are highly automated and function intelligently, others lack this level of sophistication. Consequently, there's often a need to balance between analytical thinking and relying on the system, and this balance varies across different scenarios. Your deep understanding of the process, environment, and codebase is evident, but many users may not yet have this level of insight. From my own experience, my grasp of I&S has improved as I've engaged with it more extensively. Nonetheless, I believe that newcomers to OpenPnP might find it challenging to start with I&S and achieve success without substantial assistance or experiencing significant frustration."

It is true that the degree of automation varies between solutions. And coverage is also not complete, although we are continuously getting better. I assure you, this always has a technical background, for instance it is simply not possible to know which controller M-command would switch the light, or on what serial or network port your controller is listening. Or setting optimal feed-rates, accelerations, etc. for a machine. There are no safe discovery/calibration methods (known to us). The issue of "trusting I&S", I heard many times, especially if users had prior experience (and frustration) with manual configuration. But there is practically no feed-back that I&S would actually propose something that is completely wrong or that actually damaged a configuration. If you have such cases, please report them, we will fix'em! Bottom line, I would argue that I&S is helping a lot, judging from the massive reduction of support cases in the user group. You have no idea how complex it was, when you still had to hand-edit the machine.xml to achieve the simplest things! However, I will take this misunderstanding in the video as an input to better distinguish automatic solutions from simple instructions for manual intervention in the descriptive "Solution" text. I see it must be made abundantly clear to a (beginner) user that I&S will do the reconfiguration automa[tg]ically for them when they press Accept. I agree that some of the current "Solution" texts are lacking in this respect. This is a historic left-over from the days when the descriptive text had to fit into a table column (there was no lower panel). Side note: if an I&S item is a mere instruction with no automatic solution, the Accept button is grayed out. All you can do is either follow the instructions or press Dismiss. I&S will remove the item when it has found the condition to be resolved, i.e., when you press the "Find I&S" button after having manually intervened.

I&S is helping a lot. I can imagine setting up OpenPnP was incredibly difficult before this guided tool.

Unfortunately you got derailed from I&S. Most of these items are not just text instructions, these are fully automated solutions. I&S would have replaced your camera and your driver automatically, same for axis letters etc. I hope others watching this will not do it manually! :-)
