De-Policing a 2013 Ford Interceptor Utility (PIU) Explorer Pre-Project Overview

Жыл бұрынThis video is the first of a series meant to help owners of retired Police Interceptor Utilities on how to "de-policify" their Explorer. I recognize that some people enjoy the "utility" aspect of their PIU but for some folks such as myself you may want to enjoy some of the features commonly found on the commercial explorers and not get mistaken for a cop car. I hope this channel is of benefit to some fellow PIU owners out there!

Was the backup camera wiring compatible for a plug and play replacement, or did you end up having to go aftermarket? Awesome content and so helpful

Depending on the parts a Ford Explorer is mostly the same. If you mean mechanically then any Ford with a 3.7L. Otherwise eBay and local classifieds is your best bet.

Question what are u doing about the interior lights not coming on when the doors are opened ?

Sounds like you still have dark car enabled. You need to disable it with Forscan
