I Dont recommend anyone to use this on their vehicle this stuff made me really sick and it leaves a nasty smell on your car I can't even drive my vehicle as for now. I will report that Amazon take this out.

great video! so if the keyless entry remote module is unplugged or missing will the car still enter programming mode for a key?

I think it would enter program mode but it would not recognize a key.

Hi I ordered a roof rails off of ebay and it didn't come with the two little plastic pieces that attached to where the old ones go at the very front.Does anyone have a part number for those? I've only seen it sold with the whole roof rail System So if anyone has any ideas

Hey man, really like your content, keep up the great work. I’m having an issue where i am getting my car to go into program mode for the key fob but when i click a button on the fob, nothing happens. i changed out the battery of the key fob and same result, nothing happens. not sure what’s causing this. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate the response.

Hey also i ordered 3 keys, and none of them work when my piu enters programming mode, Is it possible it has something to do with wiring?

hey, I appreciate your content, i have seen on some videos your speedometer is showing the airbag light, exactly like my 2013 piu, is there a way to correct this? maybe forscan? also ive noticed your piu is getting great mpg, it was like 21+. I drive only highway with commutes to work and am getting ~18 any suggestions?

It depends why your light is on, have you swapped seats? Forscan or an advanced scan tool can tell you the reason. Changing the sparkplugs/coils and conservative driving/braking habits contribute to the MPG. I also run a can of seafoam in my fuel tank each oil change.

Can you perhaps make a cubby for the shifter hole that utilizes the screws from the bottom so that you could still have chrome trim??

Yeah just remember to pour the water first and have tabs pre counted so you can just dump them in and then hurry and get out of the car. The vapors are some nasty stuff and can damage your lungs. If you want to be real safe wear a vapor mask if you have one. Leave it overnight and in morning open the car doors for 30 min to get initial heavy vapor out. Then close the doors and roll down windows and leave it rest of day to get any lingering heavy chemical smell out. One thing to note is not to park in garage or under a tree (birds may be in it and highly sensitive to vapor) or by anything breathing or living because the fumes are toxic as hell in high concentrations.

Apparently my PIU came without a control console so the guy bought an aftermarket one that plugged in and worked. Thoughts only finding and installing the OEM one?😂

I just purchased a 2014 Ford Explorer Interceptor and I'm having no luck at the you-pull junkyards for a used center console. Will other Ford consoles fit like from an Edge or an Escape, etc.. or any aftermarket? Please advise? Thanks

Awesome stuff, just got done watching all of your videos. This Friday I'll be picking up a '19 PIU with 67k mi and 11k total engine hours for $6k. A bit of a gamble since I didn't have time to inspect, but according to the logs they maintained it religiously. This is not my first gov. auction but it is my first PIU. Depending on what I find I'll either flip it around quickly or convert back to civilian trim and adopt it as the new daily driver. If I go this route I'll do the full conversion back to civilian trim since I don't want to be the douche driving the cop car, lol. Have you considered opening up a forum or discord channel focused on de-policing?

Hi, can you do a video or send a dm or pm on the possibility of rear A/C for a 2015? I just sold a 2004 Tahoe Z71 that had flawless A/C in it, besides being super comfortable. My Kids are mad as Hell there’s no rear A/C, just what’s presumably dummie vents in the headliner.

Yes, its basicly bleach. Used in water treatment, pools, etc... It is not safe for vehicles, never to be used in sun light... Should have used ozone... besides its much cheaper if you are doing many vehicles...

Ive watched several of these great videos, and just cant figure out what I should bring my spliced power wires from under dash into? I used the default cig lighter power, but am trying to get the lights and other power options functional

On one of my two PUI, the trunk door has to manually be unlocked every time I want to open it. But on my other I just pressed the trunk button and it just matters if the car is locked or not. How do I fix this?

Go into the BdyCM in Forscan and disable Police Rear Door. It will make the rear gate work like a normal explorer.

It is possible but involves adding the blower and A/C unit and all the wiring all they way back to the BCM and swapping the climate controls to one equipped with rear controls. Not worth it in my opinion.

Where do I go to purchase 2 of pockets to cover the shifter. We pulled consoles out of a 2017 & 2019 Ford Explorer interceptor with column shift and consoles we picked up had holes for floor shift and we need your little pocket\box!! How much??

Hello, I just purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer police interceptor and I want to delete the interior A pillar windshield moldings because the police department already deleted the exterior ones.... I pulled a driver side and passenger side off of a 2015 but the passenger side cones with handle and there were no bolt housing to install a civilian molding..... can you advise how you did yours or modify it to install properly?

2011-15 had the grab handle on the A-Pillar. 2016-29 moved it to up on the headliner. You need a trim panel from a 2016-19.
