I ended up doing this and followed the instructions to a T", and it worked amazingly.. Totally saved my quad from certain death and a ruined crank bearing.. I will say that there was a little condensation at the end of all the oil changes but, I researched further and I was instructed to just ride the bike a few miles and it would clear up completely.... It was fine after about 20 minutes the oil site was clear as a bell and not foggy.. Don't try to skip any of these steps you need to do all of these oil changes.. I was scared till the last one because it still had some water in it til the end.. I was also skeptical about running it on desil only but it was fine and the engine is spotless now inside! I did reuse the old screw on filter each time and cleaned it out well with the deisel every time. Too expensive otherwise.. I used cheap ass Walmart super tech oil for the oil flush changes. Then my usual Amsoil on the last. This was a Lifesaver.. Also the engine runs like it was new.. Definitely cleaned out all the carbon as well.. Runs better then ever.

I did this with my foreman when I sunk it in a pond. worked great.

Happy to come across this... I have a quad that I bought it with water in it for cheap. Been sitting a while it looks.. I took a chance with this thing. On my 3rd oil change now after trying seafoam in the oil to clean it out. A transmission fluid ATF oil change. And now a regular oil change. Still water. Can't believe how stubborn water is in an engine. So let me get this straight. You are filling the engine up to the fill line with only the diesel? So basically 2 fill and drains with diesel, then 2 oil changes with regular oil before final oil change? My quad has a thread on oil filter. Will this diesel still work and circulate through the paper filter?

If my quad has a transmission dipstick do i drain oil from it too?

Good vid, I rolled my 15 outty 500. I drained the air box, ‘clean side’ had whitish oil ‘dirty side’ had gravel/mud. How did you get the air box apart?
