if you listen to closely at the end, you'll hear onew say "수고했어" (you did well/you've worked hard) which was a phrase very frequently used towards Jonghyun after his passing, and it also references his song "end of a day" where the final lyrics is something similar. it's both heartbreaking and heartwarming when you hear him say that to his precious Jonghyun💛

Thank you, Ben for this and for reacting to SHINee🤍🤍🤍 just a little story about the song/mv (writing this before watching) SHINee wrote this song for Jonghyun, it was their way to send him off. The video shows how they were left living their lives after What happened because they took a break from activitaties and from the public when it happened. Minho was filming a movie when it happened and had a few weeks off, Then went straight back to it, Key was dancing because they were supposed to get ready for their Tokyo dome concerts in february that were scheduled to Take place, Onew was writing and producing. Taemin went to the gym because him and Jjong often would work out together. Time was passing by and people were moving on, But they just couldn’t move on.When it happened they weren’t sure if they wanted to keep going as a group or not, But in the end they realized that walking down that path as 5 and standing together was the best decision Both for them and for their beloved SHINee World. The pearl aqua lights that light up around them represent us, their fans that are there for them and guide them back to their passion. And obviously the fifth mic represents Jonghyun. At the end of the song, while they were harmonizing together, Onew says “You did Well”

Good evening is such a special song as well. Especially lyrically.

At the end Onew says something, he says it live too and looks up the sky, I think it means "you did well". And this blue light they look at in MV is shawol color and we believe blue moon is Jonghyun. When he passed away, this type of moon was seen and Jonghyun loved moon and space with all his heart.

“1 of 1” is one of my favorite retro sounds of SHINee, it puts you in a great mood instantly you’re left with a huge smile after watching it i guarantee!

The way I interpret this MV is that even when they were grieving, they had to continue living on their life, continue working and continue living. I felt this a lot when he first passed away, especially that one scene where they were still but everything was moving forward around them. Life continues even as you grieve. But eventually you'll move on as well, carrying those who passed with you in your heart and your memories.

Thank you so much for looking up the lyrics for SHINee's "Our Page." I feel like out of all kpop songs in existence this is one of the most important songs to know what the lyrics are about. Every word of the song was wrote by the members and it is all about Jonghyun. The lyrics make reference to things that Jonghyun said to them in the letter he left them when he died. Every word is talking about their relationship as a group and their relationship with Jonghyun.The song and lyrics are a tribute to him and the more than 10 years the members spent together as a group. The song is very powerful and full of meaning. As you can see, the message each of them sings about is very personal to them, it's about their journey as a group and how much impact Jonghyun had in their life. And, as the members have said, it's about all the things they wish they could have told Jonghyun, etc. This album, "The Story of Light" is all about Jonghyun and every song has something to do with what they went through over the past 6 months, etc. "Good Evening" is about SHINee's grieving process and the way the public sees them. "I want you" Is about learning to find happiness again and how they are personally dealing with everything that happened and "Our Page" is the members telling "our story and what we want the world to know about us as a group and what we will remember and miss the most about Jonghyun," etc. "Our Page" is epic because it should be epic. It was the song that made Shawols feel like it was finally OK to start to get back to a little bit of normal again. It was a moment of collective catharsis for everyone within the fandom and it showed us that the members were finally ready to get back to what they loved and they were more dedicated then ever to continue on as a group. I feel like you miss so much of the meaning and story in the MV if you don't know the lyrics. In the MV, in the beginning you see each of the members struggling just to carry on with everyday life. But because they have no other choice they all decide that the only way to honor Jonghyun's memory is to continue on. So you see Onew get back to composing songs (Jonghyun was the songwriter of the group so, this scene also is supposed to invoke memories of him as well), Taemin goes back to the gym (Jonghyun also spent a lot of time in the gym, so this was also Taemin's way of connecting with Jonghyun.) Minho is one of the top actors in Korea and when Jonghyun died he was on set filming for a drama, so we see Minho trying to get back to his normal routine and back to filming. And Key is one of the members, besides Taemin, that is known for his dancing, so you see him getting back to the dance studio and practicing his dance for his first solo debut album. (We didn't know that what we saw in this MV was a secret reveal of his dance for his solo releases, but since then, now that Key's solo album and MVs have come out, we realize that this was the choreography for one of his solos.) The background beat is supposed to be the heartbeat of the group, the heartbeat of the fans, everything that kept the members moving forward and what brings them together as a group, etc. Every part of this song was done very purposefully and deliberately. As you may know, the green/aqua blue light you see all around them is SHINee's fan color, and it represents how Jonghyun is always all around them and how he is calling them back to the stage. The light washes over the members representing how the fans' love, support and solidarity within the fandom gives the members the strength to carry on and to continue as a group. At one point you see each of the members standing still in a room while the world around them continues on. This represents how their world came to a standstill when Jonghyun died and how for a while it felt like their world stopped while everyone else continued on around them. As they climb the stairs to the stage you see the lights come on one by one, I like to think that was each of the fans sending their support to encourage them to keep moving forward. And then once on stage you see the members all standing on stage with the one empty mic stand in the center that represents Jonghyun. In SHINee's concert/fan meeting for their 10th anniversary the members all vowed that SHINee will always be 5 and that Jonghyun will always be involved in everything they do. And during the concert when they performed the choreo for some of their most iconic songs they intentionally left Jonghyun's spot open and only filled in for him when something just wouldn't work without someone in that position. And often during performances where Jonghyun's presence is missed the most, you see them leave an empty mic stand in the center or an open space where Jonghyun would have been, etc. He will never be forgotten and SHINee will always be OT5 forever and ever. :D Fun fact: Just like SHINee's "1 0f 1" MV was 5:25 seconds long because it was supposed to represent how SHINee debuted 5/25/08, "Our Page" was 5:10 long because it was a reference to the fact that SHINee will forever be a group of 5 and this album is celebrating their 10th anniversary.

even when I was not a shawol,when they came back in 2018 I didn't expect them to literally snap with their 6th album. Please remember Jjong for his character,his talent and the beautiful words he left behind and for no other reason.

TW: from now on/the domes. Ok couple things, to fill in on what some of the other comments I’m seeing are: in reality SHINee had a short time to decide that they wanted to keep being SHINee. There was Dome concerts already scheduled for February 2018 and ticketed for before Jonghyun passed. They have talked about how they went through that time wondering how they could go forward but Jonghyun’s mom had met with them and told them she wanted them to continue and not fall apart. She gave them the boost they needed to feel it was ok and they hand wrote letters to shawols at that time to explain where they were at and what the plans were. You will hear shawols from that time colloquially talk about ‘The Domes’ (this is the ‘From Now On’ concerts, the title having already been set from before and based off their single to be released), it was the first time since the funeral we saw them and it was an incredibly emotional and passionate experience, as much as it was a concert it was truly a memorial for Jjong between us and them- and an incredibly cathartic one, everybody wept from start to finish. From there they have been unstoppable. In May of 2018 was their 10th anniversary and they celebrated by releasing The Story Of Light trilogy. SHINee meaning ‘the ones who receive light’- it’s their story. The MV’s are: Good Evening, I Want You, and Our Page. They all tie together and are well worth the listen/watch in order as they move through grief, unity, and hope. Our Page was written by the boys themselves. 💗 One final thing, the aqua light that is shown in the Our Page MV really happened. As shawols held memorials all over the world at many of them people experienced seeing things like street lights in the park flicker and turn to aqua. It was very comforting for us at that time and it’s so special that they knew about those happenings and included them in this video. I just scrolled down the comments to see which MV reaction has topped. Everyone has commented one MV and no one repeats the name. Basically it means that all SHINee songs are amazing, lol. I won’t dive deep into Our Page because everytime I watch it I cry. So it’s better not to go in deep. I would personally recommend “Ring Ding Dong” because it’s an ageless song. It’s us Shawols’ theme song after all. But since you’re into vocals a lot I suggest you watch some ballads. Ballads with SHINee is the best thing anyone could come across. Once you get into SHINee ballads you obviously can’t get out.

I listen to this every year as his anniversary approaches and just cry. I didn't know I could miss someone I never met until him. I could barely keep it together watching this video all I can think of is being a kid and seeing SHINee's 1st video and how happy they were and how it changed my life. Shawol forever.

When you said "Minho, are you good?" in the start, it made me cry. Even after some time, this song still hits as hard as it did the day it came out. In the background of the ending, you can here them say "you did well" - which is what he wanted to hear the most.

Even without the lyrics I could tell how much emotion and love for Jonghyun was put into the song and I definitely cried a bit. I haven’t been a long Shinee fan but I feel so proud of all 5 of them. Edit: now sobbing - Taemins first line, “I talk to the sky” made me think immediately of what I do when I talk to my Gran who passed away a few months ago..

our page live stages hit different, man... they hit different 😭 especially when onew looks to the sky and says “you did well” towards the end of the song. even just seeing the raw emotion and passion when they sing... you can’t help but be swept up in your emotions with them.

When I first got into SHINee, I connected with Jonghyun the most. He was bias with Taemin being my wrecker. I had just gotten into kpop a year before what happened to him. I was an absolutely wreck and just kept bawling my eyes out at what happened in shock. He touched so many hearts including non shawols as well. Jonghyun, please know that you touched so many lives and you will never be forgotten at all. You are someone who has been a huge influence to me and a lot of shawols. You will continue to leave your mark on all of us. You did well Jonghyun. You did exceptionally well.
