Fuckin love how Carver just straight up disappears and then all of a sudden reappears in some of the cutscenes just blending with Isaac when something tragic happens

That whole section at 59:39-1:00:15 where Isaac is just casually doing a puzzle while Carver is trying not to get eviscerated by Necromorph's is hilarious

I actually like the idea of Carver using military weapons since he's a soldier and Isaac sticking to his engineering tools because they just suit him. Me and my friend played the game this way to make an interesting experience.

Only a year or so ago my best friend and I picked up the last two copies of Dead Space 3 at our local store and streamed our COOP run across both the main game and the DLC. We completed every optional mission(despite the lack of effort in the SCAF base being laughable as every side mission was copy and paste for the mid-point of the game), read every log and picked up all the suits we could. It was an outstanding experience but it made me realize some things. First of all the 'online pass' shit for Xbox 360 is awful and I'm so glad they did away with it on Xbox One games and beyond, since trying to get that pass to work on backwards compatibility was a hassle. Thankfully we forced it to work. Second, I don't hate Dead Space 3 like I used to. I actually enjoyed the new themes and feel and contrary to popular belief, I loved the COOP feature because I was able to introduce my friend to a favorite franchise of mine first hand. Despite not always blending well with the game, the COOP opened up extra dialogue (which varies between Carver noting execution sites and him berating Isaac for his love for Ellie) and even Sam Ackerman during the prologue. Overall, the amount of lore was worth the change of pace. Third, fuck you EA. I seriously condemn them for overhauling this series into a giant microtransaction. Monopolizing crafting materials is brilliantly diabolical. It angers me to no end that they ruined my favorite games franchise. Then again, that's nothing new for them. Reading the books and playing all of the side games like Extraction and Ignition(and mobile, for that matter) seriously felt like a waste of everyone's time with how the company fucked it up. In the end it was a fun as hell experience. I'd do it again if I could. I could go on for hours about my love for Dead Space. Congratulations if you've read this far. That means you must care as much as I do.

I wish they could've made carter an AI for the single player instead of doing co-op just to get all of these cutscenes/interactions, it definitely would've made the single player expeirence better.

I love the Dead Space franchise (thanks for killing it *EA*...) But DP3... some scenes feel awkward in Single Player, but fit well in CoOp... but some scenes just feel wrong in CoOp but fit well in SP.. Regardless, I love this movie you made.

Watching the start again made me realize: The Brother Moons already knew where earth was or at least was closer than ever before because Danik was exposing Markers all across humanity's colonies. I don't know how much time passed between the beginning and the Roanoke but all those lives lost would've caused a convergence event regardless.

Interesting sci fi concepts used in designing the marker; Zero point energy , suicide pact technology, trojan horse alien invasion scenario, infohazard. the latter explains why society never chased any alternative energy to the markers. as soon as they knew about it they were obsessed with obtaining energy from the marker.

Honor for the rebirth of DEAD SPACE

It should have made Carver an ai supporting character for isaac, like in resident evil revelations.

This game aged great minus some super clunky movements like instant aiming and 1 speed walking. Gears of War had split screen co op. It's a lie and manipulation for exploitation of customer spending that they couldn't do it for deadspace 3 on Xbox 360. A lie. They chose not to.
