Well, they are dead. If you pay attention, the writers gave you several clues to pick up on that. But I guess some people are just too slow to even do the most minimum amount of critical thinking.

@@wowno5763 im not denying that, the writers where probably rushed to make a ds3 game and more action packed than the other two, atleast the dlc tried to be scary and mild FU to EA by killing of all the characters.

​@@wowno5763Dead Space 1 was amazing, but the remake was definitely necessary. It polished over everything, except for a few things like the endings? They were worse in terms of quality, but overall. A big win for EA.

@@Nothing-of2pm nope. The original is a perfectly great game on its own, we dont need a whole ass remake for a few slight improvements. They should use those resources to either remake the one that would actually benefit from a remake, or just make a new one.

@@wowno5763 If the original was something you enjoyed, then feel free to continue playing. If you like the concept of reimaginings, then feel free to play the newest entries. Why are you so pressed? It makes no difference, these games come out regardless. I've never understood both ends of the spectrum, raging out because one end prefers the original and the other the newest entries. I grew up on the original trilogy, and the spin-offs and the films and novels and more. But I'm not a prude, and I can buy something to play it and always return it. For what the remake was, I enjoyed it. It wasn't able to perfectly capture the original's energy but it did just enough to finally reignite interest.

The only thing I don't like, isnt really the story or dialogue. But the fact that earth is fucked. So all that hard work for nothing? Isaac and everyone throughout the whole franchise, went through all that shit for nothing? That's hella depressing. Without this dlc, the ending for deadspace would've been even more grand. Especially since the marker signal eliminated, the brethren moon, eliminated, and isaac and carver accepting their deaths, while earth is saved. It was kinda a bittersweet ending, and it was satisfying for this universe. These conclusions in most media are a terrible trend i noticed. I do wish that writers nowadays would stop being scared of including a "happily ever after", ending. You can still have a happy ending and a masterpiece. In fact, I feel like happy endings leave more of an impact on me. But for some reason, people hate happy endings, but get pissed when an ending is predictable. Happy endings are so rare, that if it is included, it would be so damn impactful, and unpredictable, and really separates itself from the more true to life tones, by actually have the plot amount up to something meaningful and also happy, it allows more aspects to be shown. But now, almost 99% of media almost always include a non satisfying, bad unhappy ending. Not only that, but bad unhappy endings opens the way for more sequels. I don't get why people are so scared when it comes to having a good ending. It's not that riveting, bad endings have always been in stories. We don't need everything now to be depressing, switch up your plot and have it stand out from most other pieces of media. Most endings are just setting up for sequels now, and then will ultimately have an unsatisfying lame ass ending to that as well.

Nah. It's one of the few things 3 did right. They aren't actually moons, they're the congealed dead of previous worlds and it answers the Fermi Paradox.
