This sound is called shoegaze. Check out Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Chapterhouse,. its a bit of a gothy take on it. Its great!!

My favorite song song, though I expected a trippy song though of the title. That’s an homage to The Warlocks - The Mirror Explodes! Amazing atmospheric! I don’t know if more melancholy would fit to them. To their name, sure! But it’s a significant song! Very underrated, though! Keep it vibrating!
