If the old radiator had a fan shroud I bet you it would have worked

The Chevy could have just been overheating because he didn't have a shroud on it. My Chevy had overheating problems too, but the moment I added the shroud, the overheating stopped. So it's a good thing the aluminum one came with one.

You can use like a 2009 to 2013 water pump that has electric fans everything swaps right over no problem. I did it on my 2003. Yukon works great.

just FYI. in this AZ heat, you actually want a higher temp thermostat. a low temp therm will be open longer and water will pass thu rad too fast, and not cool down. * take a shot every time he says nub.lol

That truck needs a built trans and a good clutch to help put the power down also take it to a shop and have them tune it so it wakes the hell up.

You could have used that stud on the top of radiator still. Just needed to fold the bracket over a couple times and then you could have bolted it. 👍

Good luck. That rad didn't work for me. Stock 4 cylinder rad with a good oem rad buddy has a bmw fan. But needs pwm to make it work. Im running a ford thunderbird cut some of the shroud. fan just need normal relay. Leave the thermostat in get a 160 it helps a bit. Dont cut the threads for the factory clutch fan. It will need a good weld now u have a custom part. When stuck somewhere.
