Thanks for the video! I started playing Deadlock a bit before the buffs and have played her almost exclusively ever since. Your A split setup is def better than mine, and I wish I got to see you on B. Most people still think she is bad due to her reputation, which is sad since her win rate seems high across all ranks (according to Blitz). My current best map (in low elo and with like 13 competitive matches played this act lol) is Icebox. Maybe it's my noob rank but people have a lot of difficulty pushing against her on A especially. Edit: pop lock n drop it

Sorry for not showing too much on B 😅 I usually had 3 of my teammates over there so I dedicated to shutting down all of A. I can 100% see deadlock being a defensive TANK on icebox, I don’t think I’ve played her on there since the changes. I’ll try her out next time 🫡

@@MaxiedomeI tried in her A it doesn't really help but I can manage to make them feel awkward cause of my wall and sensor which limit their movement in site so I usually go to B site or Mid in Icebox cause my team in 5 stacks have a hard time in mid when the enemy is defaulting For B site I usually fight with my wall cause I'm pretty confident with my aim it's just I need to improve my movement and positioning I also have a weird set up but it's so disgusting how the enemies takes 4 to kill me cause they didn't expect my sensor to be in the ceiling

@@MaxiedomeWhy are you showing gameplay on low elo immo where you simply win at shooting, there is no understanding here, you are simply shooting, and passing it all off as “very deep thoughts”.Due to good aim, you play in more aggressive positions and offangles. An ordinary player will simply lose in shooting and all this “deep thinking” will go down the drain. In addition, you are showing a game in which the opponents could not do anything (13-3), but in reality you would die with a maximum of 1 kill in such positions and since you are the strongest guard on the site, your team would lose. It is useless to show such games.

Are you even watching the video lol it seems like you’re watching it through this biased lens that’ll just justify your own head-cannon narrative! I play on an account that’s been radiant, it puts me against people with similar hidden MMR with radiant gun bodies and the sort. I’m simply showcasing my thoughts process on how I play to tackle games and people can pick up insight on the entire process. If you don’t think that can helpful for you, then it’s not helpful for you! 😴

as a former cs player (1.6 and global offensive) the best agents to play are initiators and duelists because they both require good aim and map knowledge.

I think deadlock is really a heavy anchor agent compare to other sentinel we might see her as much in pro play but just saying that she's very good at anchoring site you can even cook with her in defending I managed to stop a 5-4 man push in my rank :) she's a pretty fair agent to use but in pro play she's a bad agent cause you can't have map control in attacking cause her sensor only react to sounds :)

@@SweetZRI disagree that it would be way better! I still have plenty of teammates alive, and we aren’t just gonna let them fly out of heaven and jump down for free lol. You’re supposed to hold heaven during a post plant, so if they’re forced to fight as soon as they enter the choke they get hit by the sound thingy 🤓 if you let them walk out of heaven for free you’re playing way too scared my dude

That’s overthinking it a bit in this instance! Although that’s a good idea, I prefer it in heaven considering we’re in a post plant situation! If we let them fall that means we aren’t holding enough, if someone is spotting heaven it’ll force them to make noise anyways in a more exposed spot. I’m not a fan of letting them out and jumping down so freely!

Only problem I have with this video is that the match is one sided so : We don't see much about the attack site We don't really know what to do in eco situations or playing from behind Not sure about this one but doesnt the fact that there is another sentinel changes the way to play alot when its something that rarely happens (or a sage maybe but yeah thats not a cypher) Thanks for the vid nonetheless, very informational

deadlock is so hard to play in low ranks cause everyone just runs in site with like 5 people so your wall and sensors don't really do anything.

if anything, that’s when it should be strongest! Try working on the timing! I would personally think her sensors work in lower ranks more because of the fact that everybody rushes and huddles up!

because these are not radiants, but immortal ascedents. The author simply smurfs at low elo immortal and shows that these are supposedly "super high skills". The author is incompetent, like everyone else in NA Valorant

I got one tapped a lot this game 😭 but something people don’t realize is that your decision making and WHEN you fight has a lot to done with wether your fight will be an easy one or a hard one. If you tweak your timing of when you peek, when they gotta worry about things or when they’re in the process of something else. It gives them WAY harder shots than just a normal 50/50

As somebody who’s been radiant 13 times, and been in tournaments with pros, the skill gap in this game is not NEARLY as wide as you think it is. Idk what rank you are but if you think there’s a difference between 200 rr and 450 rr radiants other than play time I would HIGHLY disagree with you! People who call immortal “low ranks” are what make val ranked lame lol. People love projecting and showcasing ego for some reason 🤢 immortal is genuinely impressive to get! I play on accounts that have hit radiant multiple times and play against the players that it matches me up with lol. The farfetched discrediting is sooo lame brother, enjoy things more!

Nah I can totally get it, ppl with good sim probably adore the map haha. I’m just not a fan of the comps that you’re forced to run on that map. It just seems really boring for me to play
