Pity you didn’t name/highlight the best thing about this part of the city. The locals would have loved you butcher the name of their town. Better ask one of them for the correct pronunciation. A title like Beautiful botanics rather than some title that every tourist hears about Australia that everything is about to kill you. If you could ask a 1000 people you probably would have found one that has been attacked by one of those ‘dangerous’ jumping spiders. Spiders live where insects live and in the tropics they breed like crazy. Flecker Botanic Gardens is great though. A very compact gardens that can easily be seen in an hour or so. The flower at 2.25 is called a torch Lilly. A member of the ginger family.
