Great video, I could almost smell the salty ocean air too. Does it feel different being on the under side of the globe, or does it feel like you're still on top of it? Makes a person wonder. Happy Trails. 😊

Napier looks beautiful. Those small Penguins were the stars of the Aquarium. Enjoying your Australian videos very much, I'll likely never go there so thank you, for sharing your adventures with all of us. Where to next? Happy Trails you two.

Totally agree. The penguins were quite actively showing off.

But you didn't get the tickets for free. The two of you had to spend two hours of your time in a presentation then you had to worry about whether you were charged for the tickets or not.

Very stressful but in the end the show was great! I would not do that again. Just buy the dang tickets.

I said it wrong! While the Aztecs were primarily based in Mexico, they had significant connections and influences in South America, expanding their empire and leaving a lasting legacy in the region.

Also, the scammers work together with the security guard that blocks the area when the train is coming, so the uniformed man stops the tourist and does not let them in the area of the train tracks. If that happens, access the area through the other access street.
@TravelAbout6 күн бұрын
I think the real scam was that the train never came.

Thinking of staying here. How was it during the stay? Would you recommend it to families? Were the rooms quiet and comfortable? I worry about room noise from people upstairs and in the hallway being in a hotel for so many nights.
@TravelAboutАй бұрын
We enjoyed the room very much. I never heard any hallway noise.. the surrounding area is amazing. Easy walk to the water and easy pickup for tours. Your experience might be different but I would recommend this place.

How much did Jucy cost? Looks like fun, but I don't think my wife would sleep in a vehicle.
@TravelAboutАй бұрын
App $1250 for 14 nights. That does not include fuel, propane, etc...Also we often stayed at paid camp sites to get electric, toilets, showers and full kitchens. Guessing at least another $1000 for that stuff. Not including any tours and stuff.

C-air-ns...sounds like Cans...not Carns...there is an "i" you are ignoring in the name. Ee-myu is how Emu is pronounced... not ee-moo, there are no alligators in Australia, they are crocodiles...they are not the same thing. And as a pre-emptive move...a possum in Australia is not an o-possum Try to ask a local at one of the places you visit, I'm sure they will be perfectly happy to help so you don't keep completely butchering the names of towns, cities and animals. There comes a point where it starts to become rather insulting to the country you are visiting when this keeps persisting...how would you like it if someone kept butchering the name of the state you come from?, the city or town you live?, the animals you know and recognise daily?

Cairns, not “carns”, nor “kahns”. Some pronounce it like “cans” or “kanns” but most pronounce it “cairns” like it’s spelt. I acknowledge that the plural of a Scottish memorial rock pile, a cairn, is supposed to be pronounced “kahns” but that’s not how we pronounce the city in north Queensland. Ignorant Aussies? Maybe, but that’s the way it is.

The seal you saw at the northern VIP steps of the Opera House, otherwise unoccupied for the majority of the year, is the favourite sunbathing spot of a wild long-nosed fur seal, affectionately called 'Benny' (named after Bennelong Point). He's now world famous and has been there since 2014 sunbathing himself.

Pity you didn’t name/highlight the best thing about this part of the city. The locals would have loved you butcher the name of their town. Better ask one of them for the correct pronunciation. A title like Beautiful botanics rather than some title that every tourist hears about Australia that everything is about to kill you. If you could ask a 1000 people you probably would have found one that has been attacked by one of those ‘dangerous’ jumping spiders. Spiders live where insects live and in the tropics they breed like crazy. Flecker Botanic Gardens is great though. A very compact gardens that can easily be seen in an hour or so. The flower at 2.25 is called a torch Lilly. A member of the ginger family.

Good question. The kangaroos seemed quite docile. They enjoyed being fed too much to cause a problem.
@FionaEm2 ай бұрын
Kangaroos and koalas are wild animals, so most of them would strike out if you antagonised them in their natural habitat. The ones in wildlife parks are used to people though, so they're pretty tame.
