Deadly Outlaw Racing Returns to Bike Week

4 ай бұрынOutlaw board track racing was a popular but a deadly sport in the early days of motorcycles. One hundred years later it lives on with Billy Lane's Sons of Speed. This year during bike week in Daytona my buddy Pedro and I had the opportunity to gain VIP access to the race. We walked the pits, interviewed Billy Lane along with other racers and filmed portions of the race trackside, it was an unbelievable experience and in this episode I share some of this experience with you.

I've taken my 1984 FXRT off-road and through the woods to a friend's place 3 miles out across a stream and two swamps. It made it within a quarter mile before the rear tire fell off a 2x4 when crossing a mucky area. The bags kept it from sinking into the muck. The two of us pushed her out. Bottom line, my friend was ok. Just radio went down, and there was no gas to get out to hwy!

Hey Kenny, really enjoyed your series on the Harley line. You have fantastic insights on the models. I am have somewhat of an issue deciding between the Sport Glide and the Low Rider S. My local dealer is currently selling new ones for the same price of $27000. Do you have any advice on which would be the better purchase? I have ridden both multiple times, either way I will need to spend cash on the motor of the SG or cash to set the LRS up for pillion and touring. And advice would be greatly appreciated. Best regards from Australia 🇦🇺

They stopped offering the FLSB here in 2022. I can summarize the differences as 107 vs 117, forward controls vs. mids. Dual front rotors vs. single. Gauge in your sightline or gauge on your tank. Since the dealer is selling both at the same price and If your plans are longer distances with a pillion and you prefer forward controls…..I’d pick a comfy two up touring seat to swap the stock out for when you go two up, add the pillion pegs, add forward controls and ride off the lot with a low rider S, you’ll save money and enjoy a better resale value.
