I honestly don't know why this isn't a thing MUCH more often. Rob Swire's vocals are second only to Maynard James Keenan in my books, and combined with deadmau5 its absolutely EPIC

The vocals are really good in context. If you tried Maynard James Keenan's vocal is a house/EDM song like this, it simply wouldn't work. Meanwhile Rob Swire's vocals would not work at all in a Tool song. Its honestly really difficult to compare vocalists with such different styles. Even some percieved as shittier singers like J-Mann from Mushroomhead sounds so sick in context. Not dissing anyone here, I just think that each voice needs a specific context to work in.

This song should have 465,000,000 views at this point. It's so deep and so real and relates to me on more levels than I can ever express in a YT message. Thank you so much Rob Swire and Joel Zimmerman (Deadmau5) for creating another masterpiece, even after 10 years since the release of Ghosts N' Stuff. Because of the musical genius and prowess of both fo you, I have been introduced to more EDM artists and styles than I can name at this point. Also, I still love both of you! From the bottom of my heart, thank you both for your sincere dedication to your professions and for continuing to create and push the envelope regardless of what your critics say. Fuck the haters and thank you for being able to transcribe EDM with serious issues that many of us have to face. I will always be a huge fan and I will always support you. Best Friday the 13th gift EVER ❤️❤️❤️ I’ve been hoping for another collab/feature with Joel and Rob for nearly 10 years 😭❤️ my heart is so happy and full. I originally discovered deadmau5 when I was 17 in a college summer music class in 2010. We had to do a presentation on an artist that majorly changed our perception of music, and this douchey-looking guy that was probably 4 years older than me presented Joel and played Ghosts n Stuff at the end. God, he was a fuckin bro and a half lmao, but I will NEVER forget that moment when he pressed play and my mind was just fucking blown... I remember immediately going home and looking up all of Joel’s previous work and how happy/elevated it made me feel. I am actually so thankful for that random douche because he introduced me to one of my favorite artists of all time, along with one of the most iconic musicians/producers that I still religiously follow nearly a decade later. I was fortunate enough to see him in concert last year in Oakland, and it was one of the greatest moments of my life. Keep being you, Joel. Don’t ever fucking change! Altho it was Deadmau5's Strobe that made me realize I liked EDM more than any other genre so I credit deadmau5 too for introducing me to this stlye of music in the first place

Listening and loving "dance music" since late 80's and still loving it today. Deadmau5 is fascinating and inspiring. I love the way he takes no shit, doesn't talk bulshit and is just so straight forward, its clearly reflected in his music. Its refreshing and honest in this world of bravado that we live in today. My college roommate killed himself and 2 days after that happened I heard this song for the first time. It resonated with me so much because I couldn’t help think I could have done something to help him realize we all loved him. Now that he’s gone I wish there was a way I could bring fond him and bring him back. Anyways this song makes me think of him. Great song.

Daaaamn man that really sucks to hear. Especially since this is one of my go to songs when I'm feeling somewhat melancholy. I will say though, don't beat yourself up over it (as hard as that is), at this point you can only move forward. Cherish the memories you had with him and hang on to those forever, that I believe is the best way to honor his legacy.
